Way to project onto your kid. You might want to start putting away now for the therapist

Thank you! I cannot watch it it.... All of my non-nerd friends kept telling me I had to check it out and I cannot make it through five minutes. As for me... 2 degrees in bio, science teacher, still read the complete Harry potter series at least once a year, Love obscure sci-fi, have my classroom decorated a-la think…

Quite the backstory on that one... Turns out that the story is fake... I just hope the tat is as well. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2067810/Is-Rossie-Brovent-suing-ex-boyfriend-inking-flies-buzzing-excrement-back.html?ITO=1490

yeah... shocker there... I have about 20 hours worth of tattoos on my arms....the thought of going to sleep never, not once, crossed my mind.
-
nope... she tried to sue the tattoo artist by saying she was drunk and passed out.... Turns out later she admitted that she asked for her face to get tatted up. Winner!
-
My personal favorite was from a student I once taught. This student just could not wait until she was old enough to get a tattoo. The Monday after she got it she came to school and told me she had her name on her side. (I have lots of tats and my own name as a choice has never made sense)... I asked if they spelled it…

Actually be starving, which the vast majority of individuals who can afford a computer and Internet access are not. Starvation mode in regard to dieting is a myth.

Kinda dumb to spend thousands of dollars on a new, lightweight bike if I have any pounds I can lose. Kinda like a fat formula 1 driver. Just would not make sense
-
I would make a big sign that counted the pounds lost and put it in a prominent place.... Like many things in life, if it's important to her she will decide to do what she has to do. Otherwise, enjoy your success!

Heck i am a dude and i am scared to friend ladies because of all the weirdos and creepy dudes i have simply observed. My wife and i were talking about this the other day as we both jokingly discussed putting a more close-up shot for the Profile pic. I have a few supportive friends and its great.

Your not from the deep south are you...... Fried okra is the bomb....

To much to count. He stays outside running around and riding his bike / chasing the dog / causing general mayhem. That said, he eats like crap no matter how much his mom and I try to get anything green in him...

Get some of that evil stuff the Doc makes you drink before a colonoscopy..that will clean you right out. Cleanses are gimmicks... Your body does not hold on to poop. Your intestine simpy do not work that way.

They are not that expensive. Actually pretty cheap considering what they can do. If it got stolen? Lock that one down, do a find phone, stop service on it and likely as not, buy him a new one...
-
That's called hyperbole... It's exaggeration used for effect to make a point.
-
What does a phone have to do with any of those things you listed? My sons pants have these things called "pockets" where he will be able to carry his phone while he is doing those things. As long as my son has healthy and active parents to emulate, I am not worried about him becoming a slug.
-
Yes I am saddened that my son will never have the chance to ride in a horse and buggy, read by oil lamp, Have to go to the doctor for a bleeding or a nice set of leaches..... Technology changes. As far as e-books... I probrably have near 1000 books in my house. Everything from the classics to sci-fi with lots of scientific…
-
Really? Disturbing? Over-react much? Two things come to mind. One- technology is all around us. Kids use it and are comfortable with it. Heck, hand my four year old my iPhone and he can find his games and music faster than I can. Oh, and even knowing how to use technology he is still creative and has a vivid imagination.…

Huh?

Get off the sidewalk. If you want to ride a bike, ride in the road where all vehicles belong. I log thousands of miles each year and I can count on one hand the number of near misses I have had with motorists... Get out there and ride!
