As sad as it might sound. To take off the first 10 lbs after not taking care of myself in 4 years. 6 lbs to go!

I too am getting back on track, but this is after a year of being off track. Good luck to us!

Looking for motivating friends.

Thanks for sharing your success. I've just started my efforts but hope to be in Onederland in a couple of months. I have a local pool so maybe I should check that out.

Are you on any sort of medication? I was on the anti-psychotic Seroquel for a number of years and all it did was pack on the pounds. No matter that I was working out 2 hours a day and eating sensibly, NONE of it came off. There are a lot of medications that do this sort of thing, so if you are taking medication maybe it's…

I'm just starting over again as well. Got down to 155 and then stopped logging and working out altogether and now I'm at my highest weight of 205. I'm only on day one and already its been a challenge but I'm doing my best to be kind to myself and be positive. It's nice to know I'm not the only one that falls off the wagon.

Is that on Opeth tattoo?

Motivation needed here, PLEASE! I have very few active friends and it makes the whole cheering people on thing kind of difficult. Anyone on this thread feel free to add me. :flowerforyou:

Well damn it, Janet.... (hopefully you got the reference) I agree with dancinfree. For me it's a complete lifestyle change. I used to eat so much junk and never thought twice about all the crap that I shoveled into my body. Now, junk makes me physically ill. I also do battle with my bipolar disorder and since I have…

Good to know I'm not the only one. Last night I fought off fish and chips with an ice cream dessert. Saying no felt soooo good. :)

This is a perfect way to get me back on track. Please add me!

Awesome! Keep at it!

I've been on it for almost a year and in that year I gained 10lbs and they just won't come off. Good luck on your journey!

I follow all the rules and nothing! Three months of absolutely no change so it's got me wondering about the meds I'm taking. I'm glad that you finding success. :)

I used to have a real hard time resisting the treats people bring into work. Today I resisted and felt proud of myself!

You look fantastic!
