Hi everyone. I'm 39 and would love to lose 25 lbs. I have been up and down on my weight since 2009. I either do really well and lose a lot of weight, hit my goals and then get tired of counting calories and working out. One time I took it a little to far and got down to about 105 lbs. Most recently in 2013 while deployed,…

Chips and Ice cream bars. An occasional burger here and there with a diet soda. But it always fits my macros.

I like plain old Kellogg's Corn Flakes, Plain Cheerios and the Banana Nut Cheerios...with Unsweetened Almond Milk. Satisfies my cravings and helps me meet my carb macros at the end of the day.

1 cluster (5 legs) of snow crab legs = roughly about 1/2 pound which is about 90 calories. This is the weight with the shell and everything. I think about 150g is the actual meat you get out of the legs and claw of the crab cluster. As long as you aren't drowning them in melted butter, crab legs are low in fat, good on…

Well consider me fuct then...I'd rather be armed with responsibility, discipline and organization vs. eating aimlessly without care or regard to my health. Failure to prepare is preparing to fail...right?

Shoulders and my left arm. My left rotator cuff has been bothering me since training and the left side is noticeably weaker than my right.

I'm allergic to avocados too...I thought I was the only one. It kinda sucks though, because they look delicious and they're good for you...plus I always have to disect my sushi to make sure they didn't sneak any in there. Food intolerances...no I don't have any of those.

For me I ate at a moderate deficit (-300 cals) and hit my macros daily. I exercised 3-4x per week (usually cardio) ate back my exercise calories. Only thing I cut out of my diet were sodas and juices. If i wanted something (sweets, chips, etc) I made sure they fit my macros and about every 2 weeks I would have a sensible…

-Salmon (wild preferred over farmed) -Rainbow Trout -Mahi Mahi -Sea Bass Kinda stay away from tilapia after watching a documentary on them...they make catfish look clean.

-Sea salt -Olive oil -Grapeseed oil -Cilantro -Balsamic vinegar -Garlic -Herbs de Provence Just a few of the staples I usually have at all times in my kitchen :flowerforyou:

Ostrich is phenominal! I had an ostrich steak and a burger. LEAN, LEAN, LEAN...red meat. So tender, so delicious. I want to try beef tartar (sp?). It's a huge delicacy in France...I like my steaks rare, but I hear tartar is the cat's meow when it comes to rare.

1. Knock another month of this deployment out. 2. Lift more weight and try to get cut. 3. Do more squats...as much as I hate them.

I am new too. I think where the confusion lies for me is the Stage 1 workout. I'm not following. For example: Workout A: Squats Workout 1 Workout 2 Workout 3 Workout 4 Am I supposed to do different variations of the squat for workout 1-4? So a total of 2 sets, 15 reps of different squats for each workout? Making it a total…

I'm taking this from a thread that was posted a while back... Enduring chemotherapy is hard. Hitting a fast ball in the major leagues in hard. Negotiating nuclear disarmament from a hostile nation is hard. Saying goodbye to a loved one in the hospital or the veterinarian’s office for the last time is hard. Putting down the…

I make the fattiest, most calorie laden dish I can think of and bring it...that way I have no intention of eating it. Plus, to all the haters I work with, let them get fat not me.

This same question was asked on 23 May from someone else who saw it on Pinterest. Here is the link to that thread...where basically the same answers were given...but they had more gifs and pics :) http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/997486-military-3-day-diet

I'm 5' 4", small framed.. got up to 151 then dropped to 109 (way too thin) now I am at 115. I used to do only cardio (running) and now have stepped up to lifting/strength training. I eat 1700 calories now. I workout 5x per week, cardio for 30 mins, strength training for 1 hour. Main goal at this point is to get…

1. Enjoy the life you have. (You never know when you're gonna go) 2. Tell your family, spouse, children you love them everyday (You never know when they're gonna go) 3. Be kind to animals and elderly people. 4. Be honest...first with yourself, then with others 5. Have manners or learn some (Hold the door for someone, say…

My neighbor back at home wears them everyday. Yoga pants in particular. I haven't seen her in anything else. She shops in them, goes out to eat in them and hangs out at home in them...that's pretty much it. She doesn't use them for their intended purpose, yoga or any type of physical activity for that matter. I saw the…

I go over my protein all the time. It depends on your ratio...some say 1g of protein per body weight, or 1g per lean body mass. There are loads of different variables all over the interwebs. I think you should be fine.

I 2nd this...all chips, I want them!

I make 5 hard boiled eggs and keep them in the container pictured below in the fridge....that way everyone in the house knows that they are hard-boiled and that they are mine. I think if you keep them in the fridge, they should be good for a week.

I eat the same things through out the week...not by choice, but that's what the mess hall has. They have the same menu every week and each day is the same. So for example, lunch on Monday I will have fish and then take a to go plate and have that for dinner. Breakfast for me is usually a protein shake and an egg.…
