You CAN do it Shelley! Look at how far you've come. Using this site as support - you can do it! please think about what you are saying to yourself - try to be your biggest cheer leader - not biggest critic! Keep it up - you have come an amazingly long way! It doesnt happen over night.

It's great you are ready to loose weight. It is a fact that it takes the average woman 2 years for her body to recouperate after having a baby, but it takes even longer if you dont do something to help it! Way to go! :wink:

I have a lovely, hilly, woods trail behind my house that my dog and I run every morning before work- about 1.5 km - the down side is the bear I almost ran into yesterday. :noway:

Like you said, it's a habit - you have to choose to say no! I pack thinsations yogurt pretzles - so when the junk is in front of me, I choose to eat the lower calerie sweets instead. I also have carrot and sweet peas raw to munch on too. ( :

I sit at a desk all day too, however I walk (run) up and down stairs at the office and move things throughout the day, I also park a ways from my office - I move briskly and then count the time I accumulated throughout the day IE: 10 mintues of brisk walking, Then I can eat a little more. Great post! My struggle is that I've always been active, but also a constant snacker. I had no idea how many calories I was taking in and thought my walks etc, were enough. This site has shown me that I need to watch what I snack on and do more activities. You are right - having fun is the secrete to staying active. :happy:
