The reason I joined specific boards is because the backlash is horrible. I believe in veganism. I am not perfect at it but the scientific proof for health benefits are amazing.

I am not losing fast mainly because of my age, I need so much less food now than I did even 10 years ago. I like this though because I can eat my favorite foods and still lose weight.

that is hard because people are very strongly opinionated about this. My thing honestly, if my body is not calling for food, then I won't eat back the calories. Mostly I eat some of them back, but I try to listen to my body. Plus, for me I don't do hard core working out, it is usually 60 cardio.

A low carb diet is why I am on this site to lose weight. Sure, I got super thin for 2 months, then ate a pink bunny peep and that was that. I will NEVER do one of those again. I have yet to know anyone outside of being a diabetic who was actually able to keep to it for longer than a year.

You can do this!! I am starting again and I love the flexibility of 1200-1300 calories. I feel like it gives me the ability to eat what I want but it gives me safe boundaries. I heard that doing something for 21 days creates a habit. This is my 3rd day.

Me too! I always start then, there is always an excuse I guess. I am so motivated to get to 125, I am 140 right now. I personally do my MFP calorie plan for me. So lets do this!! Do you have a first goal? My first goal is to be 136 in 2 weeks.

My biggest challenge is after dinner eating. I also will get down 3 lbs and for some reason lighten up on my good habits, and go back up. I am so frustrated with myself! I was just thinking this morning that I need extra motivation.

When I substitute light versions of milk, cheese, or other items in dishes I find they don't bake very well. Honestly for me, I just have a very small serving of real deal dishes. I find this makes me feel satisfied then a larger portion of a "light" dish. Sorry if this does not help much.

Yes it does work!! and goodness, I sure will never make a success statement. I can't believe how so many of these posts are just mean. Keep up the work sweet girl and don't let anyone get you down! I am very happy for you. By the way there is a 1200 calorie group, they seem to be a lot nicer.

I have done 2 half marathons and a full marathon. I think I will stick to half marathons. It is a challenge that is still somewhat enjoyable.
