@tvm1970 LOL! Truth!

@PrincessVamp666. Thank you ❤️ I needed to hear that. I see my doctor on Friday, so we'll figure this out. And anything you have to say is important. Your thought, feelings and personal experience encourage and inspire. You are important ❤️

So how'd the appointment go? Yeah, it is sad that the info isn't more readily available. I had to do a lot of study and research on myself over decades to find info that helped. Good luck to you!

Good job with the walking! That's progress! Be proud of yourself. I am proud of you!

Thank you!

I wish I could afford that! I've lost 185 and am 19 pounds from goal. Looking good!
-
Oh wow! Those came out really nasty looking! They're very clear on my phone?

Okay, I'm going to humiliate myself. I wasn't going to do it, but I'm going to post pictures. First, let me say that I'm 185 pounds down and battling stage 3 liver failure. I had excess skin just from the weight loss. But the liver failure causes major asceites and edema build up around the gut and below. I once gained and…

I think that sounds realistic. Maybe a little light. As we age we tend to hold onto weight more stubbornly. But I'd probably aim for that same thing.

@mayainroses. Welcome. We can, do and, will recover. I'm so glad you found us and feel comfortable sharing!
-
@Styggian I'm so glad I found this. I've lost over 180 pounds and not quite ready for photos. I'm really happy looking in the mirror when I'm fully clothed and wearing compression garments. But when I'm "all out there" looking at myself before and after my showers, it's not pretty. I was recently diagnosed with liver…

I understand and totally get that. It's okay. Bottom line is that we have purpose to keep on trucking. Thank God you have her! My reason for being is my baby girl - a 4 legged fur baby - named Kayla.

I've lost over half of my previous size. My goal is to not be so obsessive on food intake and less restrictive..

It would help me find you on FitBit if you'd be kind enough to post your Fitbit username. Thanks!

It will change! I've learned (finally) that when we get tired of being tired we start making changes well worth the effort. It's a process. Just, please don't give up on you. I'm glad you found us!

Hi Princess! Welcome to the group. You're in the right place and I'm sure that when we start growing some you'll find all the support you need! Congrats on your recovery and goals. I have the dysmorphia thing going on as well. Right now I seem to be in a restrictive phase. Ask any questions or just hang out and ramble and…

Mashed bananas are amazing!
-
Hi Trucker! I really enjoy yogurt. I also enjoy mashed bananas and peanut butter. One of my favorite breakfast go to's is peanut butter on wheat bread with mashed bananas and sometimes some sugar-free preserves. I don't know if you're ready for peanut butter yet (kind of sticky  ). Do you like soup? I make some mean…

Looking GREAT! Good for you. You're inspiring!

Wow! Styggian! Amazing! You give me hope. I have been really concerned about my lose skin around my stomach and abdomen and thought it would never go away without going under the knife. Thank you for sharing the hope. You look amazing!

I'm now down 170 pounds and transitioning from vegetarian to vegan. Still have about 25 pounds to go. I feel so much better! I used to have to wear oxygen because my weight was crushing my lungs! Grateful for MFP and the support I've gotten here.
-
Hi Ashley! Glad you found the group. I'm sorry to hear about your difficulties. I, myself have OCD and PTSD too. I am also transitioning vegan. I feel really good about the food I put in my body these days. It must be terribly frustrating to be following a healthy diet of your choice and then just to lose control like that…

Hi Rosie and welcome to the group! Your story is very common in your age range. Especially for a college student. It seems like you're insightful and very honest and aware of what you're doing. Congratulations! That's half the battle! Stick with us. We're a brand new growing support group but we saw a need and hope to give…

Hi Sara and welcome to the group! I'm sure you'll find plenty of support, encouragement and motivation here. I can relate to the depression and anxiety as well as the PTSD. OCD too! Sometimes they raise their heads and affect our eating. I actually run a group on Facebook called "Bipolar Broad." LOL. I hope you feel at…
