Why don't you just keep on the plan you love, but stop eating the 0 calorie food? (or calculate the calories and don't let them get over 100 cals or something)

Very true. I'm a salicylic junkie. Use both stridex and have regular chemical peels with 15% salicylic. But my face looks fab!

No need to work out to lose weight, or eat vegan, as others said. But you might feel better if there is a mild/lighter workout that you can do.

Agree, the sugary foods are generally high calorie but don't fill you up, so you will be hungry. If you can eat more protein, and a bit of fat, you will probably feel less hungry -but if you fill up your 1600 with sugary foods, you will def be hungry. It doesn't have to be all salads, just look for food you like that is…

Stridex pads, seriously. I was breaking out (on my back) from weight lifting. I assume the sweat (Even though I always shower immediately). Just like a teenager again (even though I never broke out as a teen!). Stridex in the morning , at night and after I shower, has worked like a CHARM.

I'm struggling to get back into OMAD. I had so much energy when doing OMAD! And am trying to get that back. (Wouldn't hurt to lose those 5 lbs I gained, but they, those will come and go throughout my life).
-
Best of luck! I need the motivation and to get back on the band wagon as well

OOPS, I see that I"m late to the thread and you already did it. Congrats!!

I lost 17 lbs in 5 weeks before (was not substantially overweight to begin with, 5'6, 150 and went down to 133-134) Mind you, it was not intentional (I was working a lot) but I ate only one time per day, a huge homemade salad, with some cheese, lots of grilled chicken and other veggies, salsa instead of dressing (my…

7 lbs in one month - that's huge!!!
-
This is scary and I've never heard of heart palpitations as a result of fasting. I did end up in the ER once while eating one time per day. Now I wonder if that contributed to it?

One more comment as the "waist" area -- I would need to lose 3-4 more lbs to get rid of the "waist" area but by that time, I will have no more boobs!! Cruel joke on women.
-
Agreed, whatever algorithm they use cannot be accurate.

Great job!!! It's hard

And back to Monday tracking date. Scale says down a lb finally. I am so hangry tough -- trying to get back into IF, the "sweet" spot for me to lose weight, not sweet this time though. H-5'6 SW: 135 Short term - 128 - end of Feb GW: 125 - by March 31 01/01 - 135 01/02 - 134 01/06 - 133.5 01/13 - 132 01/20 - 130.5 01/28 -…

Great job! Love IF, once you start, it gets easier (but once you stop, it's so hard to re-start back up)

Thanks so much for the helpful info. Almost did it the other day and then literally at midnight said - screw it, and had an uncrustable (peanut butter and jelly for the lazy!). May try it later this week after work slows down. Just for a day.....

"One bad day doesn’t matter. You make my whole life better."---AMAZING!!
-
I'm so over the cold, February is the WORST. Every time I slug through the gym parking lot in my boots I hate the world!
-
Good luck with the tournament. That sounds really fun

I'm officially changing my "tracking" date to Friday, so avoid the annoyance of increased "weight" from weekend eating (salt, etc.) (I know it's just a number from the water weight, but it irritates me). Getting sort of back on track. So can I lose a "real" pound in a week? For me, I would say unlikely, but I sure can get…

Very true - lost 20 lbs last year (inadvertently) fasting (eating one time a day) because of work. But I'm over it for now. I did like the energy from fasting though---I'd like to get back that energy -- without actually having to fast??? Possible?
-
Wow - 285 for that corset. It must be one heck of a corset!!
-
I'm very bad at watching my calories every day. I find that if I use the calorie counter at least half the week, and don't overeat the rest, I still maintain or lose weight. Can't be perfect all the time!
-
I'm interested in trying a fast. How do you do it? (last meal is what time, next meal is what time?) and you drink coffee I assume during it?
-
Wow - you are on fire. Already down almost 10 lbs. That's commitment!
-
Also, haven't bought veggie burgers in forever (forgot about them), now I want one!
-
I'm on board. I wan to lose a measly 4 lbs and it seems insurmountable! 5'6, 130, those 4 lbs are literally the last 4 lbs and all on my stomach. But counting calories is sad...... and not fun...
