I own both and am just getting ready to finish up PiYo; I haven't done CE yet. As for which you do first, it really depends on your preference/fitness level. PiYo is a mix of Pilates and Yoga while CE focuses on lifting. What are your goals?

For me it was a pride thing; I wanted to be able to say I did it. You don't have to do it. That's the great thing about fitness/exercise - you can choose what works for you.

I was in the best shape of my life when I did it and hated it. The videos were too long and repetitive for my taste. HOWEVER, I did have to modify a lot because of my bad knees, but as I kept pushing through, I had to modify less and less. I also didn't have to rest as long. It's a mindset thing; if you think you can do it…

Thanks Kathy!!! I find that I'm less likely to cheat when I'm "reporting" to others.

Could you buy one of those elastic knee braces that slips on? That might give you stabilization without the cost of having to buy all kinds of athletic tape.

Don't sell yourself short! That is amazing. My first successful attempt at running was for 2 blocks. When I realized I didn't die, I downloaded a C25K app and started training. Last summer, 2 weeks before my 30th birthday, I ran a whole mile nonstop for the first time in my ENTIRE life. By the end of the summer and fall I…

Good for you! Actually serving sizes SHOCKED me when I first started. I'd think I'd be having a serving, and I'd actually be eating 2.5-3. My family doesn't get my dedication, but that's okay. I've learned that I CAN'T eyeball. When I do start a slow backslide and start to gain. Measuring isn't hard with a food scale and…

Sleep and/or TV time. However, I'm good with that. I feel better about myself, and when I exercise regularly, I feel like I get I higher quality sleep when I am sleeping. I DVR the shows that I don't want to miss and fit them in on the weekends.

I did both programs at the same time. When I first started JMBR, I did the workouts as she had scheduled them, and I ran 3 days a week for C25K. However, on days I didn't do C25K, I went for long bike rides. I do some form of cardio daily regardless of the JMBR schedule. As I progressed through JMBR, I eventually quit…

I started running in May with the C25K program. The farthest distance I have run is 6.5 miles on 9/15/13. Not too bad considering when I started I thought I was going to die after 2 blocks.

Fabulous NSV!!! I flew this summer for the first time in a few years, and I couldn't believe how much room I had in my seat. I could even cross my legs! Great job!

Inspiring results. I just want to say that you didn't need to tell us which was the before and which was the after. :) The results are quite obvious. Now I have a silly question: Did you get married in a kilt? If so, BAD @$$!

I'm doing my Fit Test today after work. This will be my first round, and I'm not ashamed to say I'm a little scared. Let's be friends and motivate each other!
-
I just finished my first round on Saturday and loved it! I'm super close to my goal so I only lost 7.8 lbs in the 90 days, but I lost at total of 23 3/4 inches overall. Search the groups for JMBR. There are several out there where you can communicate with people doing it at the same time as you!

I did Ripped in 30 after 30DS (I honestly think a lot of people do). It is the same principle of 3-2-1 circuits.
-
I'm starting Monday September 23. I'll send you a friend request. We won't be in the same spots, but we can still motivate each other!

Put on lotion before you leave home head to the race. It helps the color wash off easier Wear something under your white shirt. My torso was stained purple, pink and blue for days afterward so it looked like I'd been in a fight and was bruised up. Have fun and people watch. Tons of people go NUTS wearing the most…

I can do them properly on my knees but not on my toes. I figure not being able to master 1 move out of the dozens we do is OK. At least we are exercising!
-
I find that I do mini-standing-crunches. I'm always thinking "Keep your core tight and strong!" Thought I was a weirdo, but glad to know I'm not the only one! :0)

I'm 5'6" and 184 and a 10

Amazing!!!! That is a great NSV!

Can I just say HELL YAH!!!!! Today was my 3rd time doing WO12, and for the first time, I actually did the wheel pushups during the second rotation of Circuit 2. The first time I did it last week, I could barely get up into position let alone hold wheel. Second time, I was able to hold. First rotation, I held then thought,…

Burns vary daily doing the same activity based on your own level of intensity. Plus as you get better at activities (such as a Level in 30DS) your body will be more efficient and you will burn fewer calories even if you are putting your all into it.

I'm finishing up Week 12 (week 1 of WO 11&12). I only have 2 weeks left before I say that's a wrap! I'm super proud to say that while I can't do all the moves in each of the videos, I AM getting stronger. My goal is that I'll be able to do them all by the end of Week 14!
-
It totally depends on the individual i.e. height, weight, gender, fitness level, intensity level. The list goes on and on. I personally wear a HRM to determine my calorie burn. At 5'6, 30, hovering in the 180s, and giving it all I've got, I burn between 275-350 calories. I know that doesn't help you much. If you are…

Goal Weight: 180 Time Frame: by January 1, 2014 (shouldn't take this long, but I've been struggling the closer I get to goal) Treat: new tattoo on my ribs

Awesome job!!!! I couldn't do toe push-ups until I'd started JM Body Revolution. Now I'm doing push-up jacks and crow push-ups! Keep up the great work. You'll only get stronger.
-
I hate Cardio 3 so I just run those days. It isn't even that I can't do the moves; I just have bad knees and get tired of ALL the jumping. I tried the Wheel Pushups. Not so much, but I can hold in Wheel so I'll take it. Holding in bottom Chuterunga on WO 11 is INSANE!!!! I'm hoping by the end of my 3rd week of these 2…

I really liked it when I did it in May. The workouts from start to finish are around 20-22 minutes!! And I still got a decent calorie burn based on my HRM. There are 3 workouts plus the tutorial. I totally recommend doing the tutorial first because the moves are a little tough (at least for me) at first because you aren't…

I am in Phase 3 of JMBR and LOVE it. She really amps it up from Ri30 and 30DS.
