Was never into sports, but when I hit 30, I joined Roller Derby and did that for 5 yrs.

Nerds/geeks. Or just friends with everyone. And, yes.

My right eyelid 'winks' when I chew. Genetic, or so I hear. Something is attached in there, making this happen. My ex husband used to tease me about it.

Some posts just need a "like!" button!

I didn't bother to read everyone's comments, so this might be a repeat: Crystal Lite has 'mixer' flavors now. Appletini is pretty good!

Retired roller derby here. And went thru a divorce in the first year of skating. I started with Jet City in Everett, WA when it was in its infancy, then moved to Treasure Valley in Boise, ID. Retired when my mom was dying. Now remarried and an NSO. (but retiring from that this season as well.) After the stress of my both…

Once my butt hits the couch, I'm DONE. In fact most days, I keep going when I sit down, until I'm LAYING down.. then it's just a few short minutes before I'm being ushered into bed. 10hr work days mean I am away from home 12 hours. My poor doggies would love a walk, I'm sure. I have all these lofty plans of being active…

Ditto.

I walk on my 10 min breaks and the last 10 min of my 30 min lunch. Since I have upped my water intake, there is a special filtered water dispensor for the waterbottles. It's upstairs. :) I walk it whenever I need to fill up my bottle. And of course, with all the water intake--it has to go somewhere, so I end up walking to…

I would like an invite, please. I have a long road ahead of me...

Ditto on everything said. I say screw the scale and measure parts of your body instead. Also, try upping your exercise. I only get very small breaks at work, but I use that time to walk briskly around the pond on site. Not powerwalking, mind you--I'm not there yet!! Every little bit helps!!

Walking two blocks with a very full duffel bag & I'm not out of breath & sweaty!

There's an app for smartphones: Find Me Gluten Free very handy! Even has a list of the most common restaraunts (fast food included!) and what they have on their menu that is GF.

One week I weighed in, after a particularly fantastic week of doing everything right-- and the damn thing said I'd gained SEVEN lbs!! I asked the trainer working with my derby team and he said it's not possible to gain THAT much in just one week. Not in real weight, anyway. I had just started that day, too. But, boy was I…

You'll be fine. It just looks scary right now. The recent news and bummer-ness of it is coloring your search.

I'd like an invite, pleaseandthankyou.

me me me! Ok, I'm not tall, but I do have big bones. At my wrist, I still have an inch before my finger & thumb touch. My goal is 170.

ohmygoodness. I am SO glad I didn't have anything in my mouth when I saw this.

Or creepy Jim Carrey.

To each their own and all that. I am PRO Breastfeeding. What concerns me: HOW DOES THIS WOMAN/THIS MAGAZINE AFFECT ANY OF YOU!?!? Really. Think about it. Other than the fact that each and every poster to this thread(including me, now) CHOSE to react to this, does it REALLY affect your life? Leave her and her kid and any…

Ditto on both comments. I feel physically ill looking at these photos of this poor deluded woman. And I feel physically ill seeing photos of skeletal models. I can easily superimpose photos of deathcamp vicims over the faces of some of the models, they become so emaciated. Sad.

36yo, currently @ 230#, want to get down to 170 by the time I hit 40. Slow and steady!

Was married 12yrs(one child), D, now remarried and much happier in this marriage! :)

Can't sleep, clowns will eat me. And I didn't watch the vid. I saw evil clown in the link and said NO!

Today I vowed (and started!) that whenever I need to refill my water bottle, I WALK UP THE STAIRS to the fountain. Since I go thru 3 full water bottles(32oz) a day while I'm here, it's that much more of a push! Fitting (actually fitting, as they were intended) into my 18s this morning was a great boost. Here we go!!

I recently saw a sign on Pinterest: Don't reward yourself with food. You are not a dog.

Wow, imjessly, that's a big change!! Just look at the gap between your arm & body now. GREAT JOB!!

I cut out glutens right after Easter. So it's only been ONE month. Holy moly. I didn' realize it's been such a short amount of time. Anyway. Cutting them out has made me drop alot of size very quickly. Quiting drinking possibly helped as well. It all happened around the same time. I went from a strained size 20(read as…

I avoid the scale and just mostly look at how my clothes fit. The scale pisses me off. I can feel great, feel like I've made incredible progress, and then get on the scale and have it tell me there's no change or that it's MAYBE a # or two. Heck, one day, it told me I'd GAINED SEVEN lbs. In a week! I had some choice words…

I, too, am trying to cut out processed foods. I recently found I have a gluten sensitivity, so have been cutting that out. Boy did that do wonders!!! Wowzers!!
