Yep, I'm right there with you. I just layer up. What I have noticed is if you have a cheat day (real don't care, track nothing day) I'm warmer that day Good luck and spring is right around the corner:)

Start slow, LOG everything and don't cheat. You will see results, it is up to you to make good choices Welcome aboard

If you can do a 10K without it killing you for a day or two you can finish the half. Slow and easy. Since you will be going for over 1 hour make sure you have something to give you energy (my favorite are the beans, the gel is too messy) Try a 10 mile run and experiment with the beans.(you never want to make a major change…

Soda, it was the one largest trigger that led to eating other junk.

Great work, you look great

The new government plan is not going to make anyone healthier, they just want to be in every part of your life. Real nutrition should be taught, not this BS from the USDA. honestly teach people why things are good or not so good and teach people about portion size. It has to start at home, the school can serve what they…

Let's see. post a pic or two. I'm sure it is muscle definition that has you concerned. Your body will adapt to whatever you are doing so you might build some muscle in your quads but I also bet it is beautiful

Just keep logging and weigh yourself when you can

I'm a firefighter and a public safety diver

Hang in there, try eating real clean for a few days and get some good exercise. I'm sure it will start to turn you around. You are worth it, don't give up.

While both are important Diet by far will determine your weight

ran for 40 minutes

MFP, also love that I take it with me on my DROID
-
Don't put it off another day. Jump back into it now. the longer you wait the harder it is to fail
-
You can but it would be real hard. I've lost 52 lbs in about 3 months. I've dropped from a 18 neck to 16 1/2 neck. I've gone from XXL to L shirts, from a 40 pant to a 36. So my loss was a good 1/2 lb per day (with a few bumps in the road) So yes it can be done but again it will be with a lot of hard work.

I always track the lowest number. and frequently I don't log the warm up or cool down
-
I would maintain what you are doing for a while, If you feel your run isn't there try eating more carbs the day before a run, this will refill your glycogen stores in your legs. Don't worry about the weight loss, there are times when I lose 1 lb per day. Just don't push too hard, an injury from over training will set you…

Nice work

The Pro Complex from ON tastes better and you can mix it with anything. I usually just use water and ice in a blender to make a shake

For Cardio I do a large variety of things. I run, use an eliptical (Precor AMT), use a stairmaster (that thing that looks like an escilator), Swim and bike both stationary and on the road. (for me the ipod is a must). Then I rock climb, play at the pool with my kids, go to the park, play vollyball, I also do weight work in…

You have to fuel the machine or it will stop working. With the issue of logging, I will log my main cardio, but usually only the time I'm in my target HR. I will lean towards under estimating. When I eat I try to be as accurate as possible, if I'm not sure I over estimate my calories in. It is a formula that has worked for…

Great work, you are doing good

I eat back some. I mostly make sure I'm over 1500 calories for the day and just go from there. If I'm real hungery I'll eat back more. In around 65 days I've dropped about 40 lbs ... So it works for me, experiment a bit and see where you are

I would get a stand for your regular bike that you use outside. Any decent machine will cost you a lot. In Winter I bring my bike in and hook it up to the stand. It has two fans for resistance and a tension knob . It works great and is a fraction of the cost of a machine.

Sorry didn't read it all. Pro Complex has: 60 G protein 270 Calories 5 G Carbs tons of vitamins Don't buy from ON direct or GNC (way too expensive) plenty of on line retailers have it much lower

ON Pro complex, good taste, plenty of protein and relativly low in calories
