I can't help with the first part of your question, but I can say this about the yolk: eat it! Besides its health benefits such as Omega-3, they taste damn good! My favorite thing to eat lately has been two soft boiled eggs in which I dip a lightly buttered english muffin. So much YUM!

A C25k app is really helpful to make sure you do it gradually. RunDouble is a good one. You can use your own music, it gives you cues as to when to run and when to walk. Get good shoes. This happens to me if I don't eat enough. I figured out that, for me, multiple smaller meals a day is what helps prevent that. For example, I eat at 8am, 11am, 2:30pm and 6pm. I also have a snack post workout/ before bed. Those times are approximate, but they keep the shakiness away. Make sure you eat enough :)

I personnaly calculate the walking without the stroller. I figure if I burn a bit more cals pushing the stroller, they are just extras that will help with my weight loss.

I have a real-life friend who was on MFP already when I joined. I was lucky because I could ask her all these questions! I couldn't wrap my mind around it at first, either. The search tool will definitely be your friend! Good luck :)

I was going to go on the Saturday, but it's my daughter's birthday party. So Monday night it is with my 2 very best friends!

All the slow cooker recipes I've tried have been for 8 hours or less. Not sure what you could find that takes 11-12 hours to cook. Let me look in my bank of recipes, I'll get back to you if I find anything.
