Eat Clean Drink more water Exercise/strength train more *i do walk 4 miles a day* Don't look at the numbers on the scale and be disappointed Probably get more sleep! Eating cleaner is definitely my number 1 though, when its only me to feed i find it hard to stay away from the microwave meals :(

It takes me 2 weeks to lose weight when i am on my period, I gain the first week (1-2lbs if i'm lucky), maintain the next and drop at least 3-4 lbs from the 2 weeks before weight.. Was 50% when i started at 85kg now it hovers around 46-48% I would love it to go lower! to like 15% :D

I found that I wasn't hungry at night, but still had a tendency to snack, so *and this isn't to everyone's tastes* I chewed gum, (didn't swallow- gross) it helped me kick my habbit and now i don't snack at all.

With regards to your shins, make sure you are wearing decent footwear and please stretch before you walk anywhere. I suffered from Shinsplints when i trained and had to stretch before and ice and stretch after! And its much easier to walk up slopes! so if you do get a treadmill, always walk on an incline.
