  • Oops, possibly should have posted this in the motivation section - sorry guys!
  • Lol I'm in a band so I have seen faaaar too many to count! My top three have to be Rammstein, Devo and Serj Tankian though :) Going to see Ghost in a few months, looking forward to that!
  • I feel your pain! I lost 30lbs and went down a size when I lost about 15 but since then, I remained the same size :( I have a big stomach and skinny legs which means I often have to get a size up for trousers to fit. It's disheartening because it hides everything I achieved so far - the bagginess of the trousers means that…
  • Always spirits (either rum or vodka depending on whether rum is stupid expensive at the particular place I'm going to) with diet coke
  • If you do decide to give it up, don't whatever you do go cold turkey. It's hell. I now drink 2 cups of strong coffee a day but I used to drink far more and decided to go cold turkey - I had sweats, leg cramps, migraines, dizzy spells and more. It was like coming off some kind of hardcore drug! So yes, if you decide to give…
  • Nerdy, we didn't have a school band but I played violin at almost all concerts, sang in choir, chubby, kept myself to myself.
  • Realising that bending over to tie my shoe laces was becoming difficult...
  • Lol my hairdye has never done that! I've recently started using Manic Panic again and although it doesn't last it is some of the most vibrant colour I have ever experienced. I think I've just started accepting that I'm always going to need to dye my hair once a week...
  • As everyone keeps saying, have it black! It helps if you choose good coffee - cheap instant will taste foul without anything in it but a nicely brewed proper coffee either in a French press or using a filter machine tastes so much better! If you can afford it, an espresso machine is even better so you can make Starbucks…
  • New wardrobe  I've planned it so I should get to goal by the time I get my bonus at which point I will set aside a certain amount of money to buy myself some nice new clothes ^_^
  • Urgh so sorry to hear you are feeling rubbish! Hope the detox helps and makes you feel great again
  • I've just started crocheting (have been knitting for years) and am working on a ripply blanket from the Crocheting for Dummies book. I'm doing it in bright colours though - I think it's going to be useful as it gets pretty cold in my new house!
  • I never used to because I lived five minutes walk from the gym so I used to just walk home and shower there. But I'm thinking I may need to start doing it - I now live about 15-20 mins walk from the gym so it's quite a bit further. Up to now though I've just been drying off the sweat, changing clothes, then going home and…
  • I'm a programmer (mostly web stuff). I get to work from home most of the time but once a week I have to make the 1.5 hour trek into London where my company is based. I find those days really difficult diet-wise - so easy to be swayed by temptation when you're surrounded by fast food at train stations...
  • I have one but I'm not too keen on it so I don't really have any pictures! It's okay just not one of those "wow" tattoos you see out there. I'd like to get something Giger-esque biomechanical done on my arms but am going to wait until I reach goal.
  • The last CD I bought was probably Black Sabbath - Vol. 4 it's pretty good but not as great as some of their earlier stuff. I'm going through and buying all the Ozzy Black Sabbath stuff as I see it really.
  • I'm in a band so I see a lot of gigs but I'm guessing they don't count  The last show that wasn't mine I went to was the Smashing Pumpkins - absolutely brilliant but wish they had played more of my favourites!
  • Definitely without fail my problem is not the drinking itself but the munchies I have afterwards. Last Friday I stuck to diet coke and vodka all night and even did some dancing to help burn off those calories, but on the way home we passed a McDonalds and I was with friends who wanted a burger so guess what I did? Yes, I…
  • Lol I'm afraid I'm like most of the posters here - no make-up for me. Even my outfit isn't especially flattering but functional!
  • Wholemeal toast with butter and marmite and a boiled egg - my favourite breakfast
  • I've met Penn & Teller and Crispin Glover Oh and Ed Tudor Pole (presented the Crystal Maze after Richard O'Brien) but that wasn't because I wanted to
  • I wouldn't say that's a small NSV - it's an impressive achievement! You deserve that victory dance
  • Haven't used it in a while but I'm on there as knitterzim - have recently started getting into crochet and sewing ^_^
  • When I used to work in an office (I work from home now which has it's pros and cons!) I had a bowl at work because it means you can do things like buy a can of soup and a roll from the supermarket and heat it up. I also used to do baked potatoes in the microwave at work but they're not that easy to get right. Mainly I just…
  • Nose studs are one of the easier piercings to look after, as long as you know what you're doing with them. So read up on some piercing websites on aftercare and make sure you follow the instructions while it's healing. Despite what people say, changing jewellery is something that you shouldn't do until after the piercing…
  • Why are sisters so mean?! Mine gets really competitive and is always rubbing my face in it when she's lost weight but if I start talking about my success she pretty much ignores me lol. It used to really get my back up but it just makes me laugh now - I'm doing this for me, not to show off!
  • Wow it must be so tough starting somewhere all over again. My family lives in Holland (I am Dutch but live in the UK) and I visit them regularly so I know what the supermarkets are like and I must say I agree with you! I'm sorry I can't be too much help right now but I will ask my sister and mom whether they have any…
  • I've played guitar for over ten years now and have gradually become almost competent! I play in a band called Wrapped in Plastic - you can check us out at http://www.facebook.com/wiplastic
  • Mine change all the time! But my five favourites at the moment are: Rammstein System of a Down Nine Inch Nails Jack Off Jill Marilyn Manson I want to keep going though - too many favourites!
  • Yes I did in the end - I didn't really have time to dwell on things which is probably just as well or I would have eaten everything in sight! The show definitely kicked *kitten* and was a great high, it probably helped to turn my view around
