  • I'm an ice cream lover too! I get the light ice cream or a fat free vanilla at the grocery store. Schwann's frozen foods also sells fat free and light varieties. If they are in your area they are a company that delivers to your door. I also go to the dairy queen's in the summer and find that most of them carry a fat free…
  • Yes, it really does sound good but I found that I can get Schwann's LiveSmart vanilla fat free ice cream that only has 70 calories per 1/2 cup. I also like Kroger light ice cream and even the sugar free and they are usually about 120 calores per 1/2 cup. When it comes to ice cream hey...I gotta go with it. That is the one…

  • I use the HRM, not an expensive one but good enough to give me a calorie count.
  • Hi everyone, I'm really looking forward to this! I need to kick it up a notch and maybe this is just the thing to get me moving. I've been at a stand still for a few weeks now  Would really like to shed a few more pounds before the holiday season! Good Luck All

  • Keep a handy lowfat sweet snack for those cravings..perhaps a tootsie pop, small peppermint patty, little tootsie rolls, etc. for when you do get a craving but limit it. Moderation is key. Also, try replacing those snacks with some fruit. I think you'll find the more good stuff you eat...the less you will want of the junk.…
  • I have The Biggest Loser Cardio Maxx and love it! This one has Bob, Tara and Sione as the trainers. It has three different levels so you can work your way up. It's a good calorie burn. Also, when I was beginning to workout I did some walk away the pounds. Nice easy one to get your muscles moving and burn calories too.…
  • I love watching the food channel too! I turn it on occasionally now. If I watched it then I want to try the recipes and that is a no..no. I do not want to throw that stick of butter in my body anymore. lol We have a local channel here that has one of our local lowfat cooking celebs. http://dawnhallcookbooks.com/ Lots of…
  • I just record my own meals and for the most part 95% of the foods are already in the data base. There may be meal suggestion in the message boards.
  • I made some turkey meat taco's, bean burrito's & spicy rice w/ black beans & guacamole. Lots of flavors
  • sounds good. I think I will give that a try. I'll have to reduce the recipe a little bit.
  • Maybe they have an online menu that you can check out. My fav is the soup & salad
  • I missed my chips to so I recently got a bag of Blue Ginger Multi-Grain Brown Rice Chips Black Sesame & Sea Salt flavor. You can have 33 chips for 110 calories and 3 grams of fat.
  • Well, I'm just beginning but so far I'm thinking tuna sandwiches, celery sticks, carrot sticks, pears, apples, salads. Can't wait to see some other ideas though.
