I'll look into that massage, thanks for the tip, I'll look into more liquids as well. I just hate losing weight, even though I'm in pain at times. It's not as bad today but still not great.
-
Amazing story, awesome progress! Keep up the great work and let us know how you wind up when you finish your bulk.
-
If it takes you this long to make a decision about whether or not to bulk then good luck with the rest of the decisions in your life. Since this thread has been created I've gained 10lbs BW along with increasing my deadlift by 100lbs, went from squatting nothing to 85lb front squat for four sets of 7 (recovering from a hip…

He may see now, but he still has to do weeks worth of calculations in order to figure out that it's fine to eat some junk every now and then to hit your target calories. Good grief >.<
-
Then why make a thread? Jeez man, it's pretty simple. Do you want size, strength, or both? Three options, pick one and roll with it. But whatever you do you have to eat more than you are doing now and stop thinking so much. I've never seen someone come up with so many excuses like you have done.
-
Dude, you have NO muscle so there's no chance of you having any muscle imbalances. STOP over-thinking this and just get in the gym and lift heavy weight. Eat at a 300-500 calorie surplus and you'll be on your way in no time. Or just keep number crunching every possible scenario and don't take action and stay small and weak.
-
Never knew it takes longer than a week to eat one calorie above maintenance.
-
Hah nice. This is what I was looking for, not a debate about clean vs dirty food. I eat primarily healthy but throw in some junk to hit my goal whenever my appetite fails me.
-
You should be banned for wasting people's time in your thread. My original question was how do you guys do it? I put quotes around the words clean and junk because no one food is healthy/unhealthy in the overall context of your diet. I know about IIFYM and have been around the scene for some time now. I'm not looking for a…

One pound per month? Wow, good luck with your wheel spinning for the rest of your life.
-
Seriously for a sec, can a mod just delete this thread? It's clear that the OP is wasting everyone's time and is not going to listen to anyone. This post is just taking up space for a more worthwhile one.
-
This right here. OP I really can't tell if you are trolling or not. You're "longing to see something positive," but you know what would give you results like this? Going to a real gym (campus gym), lifting heavy weights, and eating in a surplus. That machine sucks, stop holding on to it like a crutch. This is like my third…
-
I know who you were responding to. Unlike yourself, I actually possess a brain capable of rational thought. How could you possibly injure yourself with your current routine? It's a joke. Also, do you plan on listening to people your whole life or actually make a choice for yourself? Everyone here is on the same boat with…

No you don't, and you will not. It's obvious you will not as this thread is 10 pages long and you still have not done anything. Ditch Sara (whoever she is, no clue), lift heavy weights 3x/week at your campus gym, eat 300-500 cals over maintenance everyday, DONE. But that's too simple so let's try to reinvent the wheel so…
-
You have access to a campus gym and want to use ONE machine over it? Wow, I'm done, good luck guys with trying to convince him otherwise.
-
The machine you have cannot can provide close to the stimulus that a barbell and dumbbells can. Your training setup is determined by how much money you're willing to spend. If I were you I would sell the machine on Craiglist and join a real gym. Let this sink in: my 22yr old sister, who works out once in a blue moon, is…
-
This is not an unusual situation, you just think you're a unique snowflake and you're not. That machine is inferior to a barbell and dumbbells, who cares if you got it for free. If you actually want to get real gains then join a cheap gym, pick one of the programs already mentioned in this thread, and eat. Either way I'm…
-
Why can't you join a gym? A program doesn't take a week to write, this is nuts. Just train and eat or stay small man, I've never seen someone stall so much as you.
-
It has been more than a week, what are you doing? Join a gym, pick a beginner program, and eat!
-
Came back to see OP is still eating less than 2,500, good luck with your wheel spinning for 2015.
-
How do you know what her TDEE is? She did not say what her activity level is, and given that she is 20yrs old you don't want to be messing around with bone loss. You have to correct the problem ASAP, it's not something to mess around with. 2,500 will put her in a good surplus as long as she's not crazy active.
-
Your bone loss is 100% to not eating enough. Eat at least 2,500 at a minimum, preferably more, and see how to scale goes. Aim to gain 0.5-1lb/week and lift heavy weights at least three times a week. Having osteopenia now is not good at all, fix this ASAP or else you will be injury prone for the rest of your life.
-
Thanks for this! I've never heard of this website and it seems like a great source of info.
-
There we go! Man, I know it sucks to eat, especially bulk, with stomach issues as I have my fair share of them, but just get the cals down any way you can. Make sure to hit the weights hard and you'll see good results.
-
Did you see what I posted on the first page? "I don't think just because I don't have the dedication to do whatever it takes (even if it means seriously wrecking up my health in the process) means I have an ED." You keep harping on it, but it's not like I lost weight and ended up where I am. I might not have made it clear,…

200? I highly recommend you see an eating disorder therapist as you definitely have an eating disorder. Matt Stone explains it well what you're going through and it would be worth it to read his stuff. Also, the fact that you don't address the people who say you have eating problems only further confirms that you do.
-
But then he can't be in his surplus of 100 cals per day, SMH....
-
Amen to what Jo said. Good job on the bulk, it definitely paid off!
-
Nice man. But you do realize that you have to EAT! Your stomach issues will most likely go away as you gain weight, and none of this 1lb a month, that's not a plan at all. Aim for 2-4lbs, 4lbs preferably until you hit 145-150 then go to 0.5lbs per week. You are in a great situation for gains but are cutting yourself short…

Join a cheap gym near you man, it's so worth it and you will make much better progress.
