  • Homemade chicken salad: 1/2 cup shredded chicken, half a large diced celery stalk, about a quarter of a granny smith apple diced and 1.5 tablespoons nonfat greek yogurt. And the rest of the apple in slices.
  • Where are you? In California, it's illegal to work over 6 hours without a meal break. But in terms of burning calories, tap your feet. To keep it quiet, I cross my legs and tap the foot that crossed. Then I switch after a bit.

  • I do best if I work out first thing in the morning. The only class they offer before 8:30 at my gym is a spin class. Not only is it packed, but I have a hard time with bikes due to my knee (whoever said that bikes are good for knees is wrong. It's the most painful of all activities).
