I'm very similar in the fact that I absolutely cannot stay away from the food at parties. Something I have only recently figured out is that I can allow myself to go for it occasionally. Nah, it's about the same as having a couple of strong black coffees! Just make sure you drink extra water and all that caffeine before a work out can cause cramp. In terms of weight loss though, personally i'm the same, I find that caffeine before a work out lets me push a little harder.

I find it hard not too! Although going through that right now and seem to be doing OK today. Guess if there is one time not to deny yourself something you crave its TOM, but be careful not to slip up too much! My plan is always try to make up for it with extra excersise the next day!

Welcome. Congrats on the baby. This site is awesome for support and for tracking what you eat and excersise. Some advice... Set realistic goals. It's horrible if you set something that you later realise you can't reach.

You have to excersise. It's the most healthy way to loose weight. Plus you get to eat more! Yes it's tiring and yes sometimes you can't be bothered but you know what, you basically saying you can't be bothered to get healthy! Just go fo a walk or a run or go swimming! Best thing for you!

Agree, if you're going to loose weight it should be so that you become more healthy, once you slip the otherside of your target BMI you're no longer loosing weight to become healthy. Your just loosing your health. Definitely think that MFP should prevent you putting in dangerous goals!

What do you do excersise wise? When I'm struggling I usually start going to a high-intensity cardio class at my gym. That way someone else can motivate me for a bit. Also, ask a friend who likes to work out to come with you, that should help. Unfortunately food-wise I am of no help, the only reason I've managed to loose…
