congratulations on your success with Paleo, I hope I see similar results as I am on day 2 of my 30 day challenge with it.

Okay, so does it work, or not? I'm down a few pounds already.

I do not mean to sound pessimistic. I'm just upset I let myself gain weight. Some of it maybe muscle as I swim in college but it's frustrating because since the season ended I feel my clothes getting tighter and tighter. I am taking the measures of getting myself back on south beach and whatever I can to get back to my…

I'm a broke student as well. I like trader joe's a lot, they're very cheap and reasonable with their prices when it comes to organic food.

You can't expect things to happen over night. 22 pounds can be a big number for some people, put your mind to it and things will happen

21 years of age, lost 40 pounds and no desire to keep going though now I am just looking to lose vanity weight.

well they do say, both a car and a scale go between 0-200

why wouldn't that be safe? sounds perfect to me! :)

seems like you live near a bunch of basket cases.

I'm not single this year, but last year, a guy who i was seeing for almost a year, broke my heart ON valentines day. Nothing is worse then that.

I grew up swimming every day for many years.... Now I run more then I swim, sadly. But hey! I'll make a good triathlete one day. I'm a very happy person! :)

I'm on the keto diet, but I'm only doing it for about a week or two, I hit a nasty plateau and needed a way to break it and this was the most drastic change i could think of to make to my body. I've been on it three days and finally got down to the weight I was before the holidays. It's not meant for long term because you…

That happened to me for a few months, I recently broke it by going onto keto, you have to make a really drastic change to get the scale to move usually.

I like it, I just did it tonight for the first time, I didn't feel too challenged though, and people are obnoxious with the machines and don't follow it how they should…sans the fact there are signs all over saying they'll be terminated… go figure.
-
what are you talking about>?
-
not a lot, maybe like 5 or 6 miles... on a good day.
-
when you workout try doing an open 50.... start in the middle of the pool, swim to a wall, flipturn, swim a lap and flipturn at the other wall and then stop where you started.

dorky doesn't matter in swimming, caps, i find doubling a cap works pretty well, i usually put on a latex cap and then a silicon over it, it won't keep your hair 100% dry because if you're going intense you'll be sweating like crazy and won't realize it until you take your cap off because your hair is so wet.

take it step by step, butterfly drills will work wonders in time.... dolphin dives, texas kicks (butterfly kick on your back), streamlines, and slow paced butterfly. sources; I'm a butterfly competitor.
-
they don't work

totally agree with you... would rather see people's success then seeing stuff that no one cares about. This site is so much more worthy of my time. I love it here and I love the community. Facebook is too dramatic.

I actually had greek yogurt and a lean cuisine (stir-fry with chicken) after working out today. Healthy and filling and you're getting you calories worth. Stick to something healthy, high in protein, and depending on your diet. Try to avoid soda and stick to water also. I've yet to try whey but i heard it works awesome.

gorgeous!!! :D

wowwww! you go girl!

ha i just made the switch, my digital scale has had me on a plateau for like couple of weeks now, and my analog scale is moving down slowly, and there is a good 4.5 pound difference in the two now.
