I need some pop tarts...

Definitely a lean cut of meat! Need to up that protein. Pretty much anything you can fit into your calories.

I can't explain the details, but free weights are way better than machines. I know some of it is you need to use more muscles when using a free weight to stabilize the weight. But not sure if thats all of the store.

Eat white rice instead if you like it more. Not a whole lot nutritionally different between the two.

In the end, losing the weight is far far more important than having loose skin. Eat a high protein diet, do resistance training, lose no more than 1% weight per week on average, hydrate and you will minimize loose skin. But whether you get it or not is usually down to genetics and fat distribution. I once had a 60+" waist.…

You have to find motivation from within and not some external factor. That is when you are hooked for life. Almost everyone gets started via an external influence. At some point you have to find something else to fuel your fire. For me, I compete against myself. I lived my life ashamed of my body my entire life. And I will…

You're a beautiful girl, but you could definitely stand to get on a weight training routine and increase your calories to improve your overall physique by adding muscle mass. I can tell you are extremely skinny with very little muscle mass and subsequently muscle tone. JMHO...

Not likely. 1 gram of protein is 4 calories. Even if you ate 300g of protein per day, it wouldn't be a big deal, although it would be 1200 calories worth.

I'm pretty sure you could eat yourself silly in olive oil. 1 T of it is like 120 calories... So yeah, easily done.

Sugar is not bad for healthy, non sedentary individuals. It will not affect fat loss in a calorie deficit. Calories is calculated by a formula... 4 calories per g of carbs and protein, and 9 cals per g of fat. You can change around your macro goals if you choose to. It's widely accepted that MFP estimates your protein…

In the end, calories in/calories out > food choices for having a healthy waist line. You CAN and WILL get fat or STAY fat eating too many/much of these "healthy" foods.

IIFYM folks!

Tough, Italian food is not very calorie friendly. Stick to lean cuts of meat, avoid bread and olive oil if possible. You can probably get some pasta, but not a ton for 1000 calories.

Key of weight loss? Eat less, move more.

Sugar is not toxic...

Eat ice cream!!

If you've gained 10 lbs from running, you might want to get a handle on your diet. Because you're eating too many calories to lose weight. And you didn't gain 10lbs of muscle PERIOD in 2 months. Even with a perfect routine a natural body builder can only gain about 2 lbs per month max in muscle.

Perfect article ^^^

16 fluid ounces of milk weighs a 1 lb? What type of milk? I am certain that whole milk weighs more than skim milk.

Sure, you can lose weight without weighing foods, but if you cannot, I highly suggest you start. You're more than likely eating more calories than you expect. I personally weigh everything and have been highly successful doing so.

This ^^ Its squishy fat, and its a good sign that the fat is going away. Fat cells aren't burned uniformly. Often leaving marbly feeling when you pinch the fat. Those marbles are fat cells. Your skin will need to tighten around the fat cells and that takes time.

It's quackery. Just because someone wrote a book on it doesn't mean it's real or proven to be effective.
