Bump because I’m interested to hear what others think. Ninerbuff’s arguments seem valid to me.

@sollyn23l2 — It sounds like a really expensive way for those whose insurance doesn’t cover the drugs and/or whose doctors won’t prescribe them to get them another way (for now, anyway). Noom says insurance currently won’t cover meds through them. Lots of money to be made by pharmaceutical companies, Weight Watchers, and…

As someone who has difficulty controlling my eating, I find intermittent fasting schedules useful to give me a sense of control, help me be more mindful of my eating, and ultimately reduce the calories I consume.

Yes, my doctor tells me it would be beneficial to my health to lose weight.

Some people like monogamy, some don’t. Marriage is primarily a legal and economic relationship. Divorce rates have been around 50% for a long time. I think it’s good that many people are more honest these days about what they want. Maybe the divorce rate will go down if people don’t feel forced into living a lie and choose…

I watched some clips out of curiosity after seeing this thread and was horrified. It seems horribly exploitative to me and feeds hatred and disgust for fat people. And I saw myself reflected in the camera’s judgement as it exposed suffering people’s deepest vulnerabilities, shame, hopelessness, and self-destruction. Won’t…
