I, for one, received a beautiful juicer from my hubby for Xmas and plan to make good use of it in January. I have no intentions of juicing exclusively- I like to chew my food as well. And as a previous poster stated, I think it's a good tool to cause a shift in thinking and that is precisely what I feel I can benefit from…

I would just reiterate what someone already said. I had a hellish time for a bit- full on queasiness in the am. It took me some time to narrow it down to the multivitamin I was taking. As mysteriously as it had begun, it instantly went away once I switched brands. Good luck!!!

I need some accountability after a long overindulgent holiday. If there is still room I would like to participate!!

The dress I wore in my profile pic!! It was for my husband's Xmas party which was on the 27th. I was so worried- I had been TERRIBLE over Xmas and was worried about the tiny dress I had bought earlier for the party. It fit great, I felt great, and I learned a Xmas filled with overindulgence doesn't have to be my undoing!…

The good outweighs the bad by opting for the coffee imo. Diet soda has sodium, and caffiene, and the much maligned artificial sweetener (if that's even something you're concerned about). Drink your coffee and enjoy it. This lifestyle change is hard enough as it is. We need all the help we can get. If the coffee is working…

I can't lie- the thought does cross my mind. But the chief driving force behind exercising for me is my refection in the mirror. The definition in my arms, the beginnings of being able to see my abs. WTH!! Toned thighs?! Never thought that I would ever be able to say that about myself. That is the motivation for this girl!

Hello mommyhof!! Saute onions and fresh garlic and add a can of diced tomatoes. Season from there as you wish. Throw in your medley, and top your pasta with it. This is something I do quite often and love it :-)

Anything and everything wrapped in foil and baked- drizzled with olive oil and lemon pepper....maybe garlic. Love it...make big foil packs with all the veggies I have. Brussel sprouts, cauliflower, onion, green beans, sweet potato. Top with some plain greek yogurt and ends up being on of my fave meal options.

lmao.....keep your eye on the ball people. It's not the first time a doggie in the world had something other than 'doggie' food....and I assure you it won't be the last. And I'm pretty sure it's not nearly the piece of information the op wanted or guessed anyone would focus on.

Oooooh Jen.....do not give up. Leave all those numbers aside for a moment please- and perhaps even the other specifics of your weightloss. Just know that you are doing the right things- and if it is not an immediate reflection in lesser numbers on a scale, recognize that you are giving your body the gift of health and…

Is it just me, or is it becoming increasingly difficult to get a straight answer to a genuine question on these boards. Kind of a shame, really.....

Not that this was what you're implying is happening to you, but from personal experience, I know that I can get very nauseous if I don't follow up my morning vitamins with a good breakfast. The green tea vitamins from one a day....forget about it. Literally running to the toilet in a panicy way with what I would liken to…

I hazard to say, you're not new to this ride and evidently know what you're doing based on your 70 lb loss thus far. Have some faith in yourself and the fact that you are apparently making good choices and doing what you need to do to continue on the right path. Don't let the scale dictate your mindset. I agree with ZUMBA.…

I would have stuck with the ridiculous, but adding ridiculously insensitive......

OMG....a resounding no to potentially feel guilty. You worked out like a demon, made essentially decent choices food wise, and still remained below TDEE.(I'm presuming) Read this back to yourself and answer your own question hun. I understand that lengthy periods of strict/'good behavior' can cause you to lose perspective…

Lululemon, the 'TaTa Tamer' lol....srsly!

Well, congrats on keeping it up for the 7 days for one thing. You're a stronger woman than I!! lol If you had the resolve to get this far, you just can't let Monday be your downfall. Just stay within your calorie range, and maybe let Monday be a little heavier in those avoided items than normal to help scratch your grain…

OOH YES....guess what I'm making today!! Thanks for the tweak on my original pumpkiny pudding thingy!! <3

Herrow!! At the age of 43, I feel I may have actually conquered ONE 'out of control' aspect of my life. I hovered 160-180 lbs for a good long while. I'm currently aiming to pare down to 120 but truthfully, I'm pretty comfortable where I am at. I eat well, exercise no less than 3 days/week, and hold my head high when I walk…

I add pumpkin pie spice, extra cinnamon, and some sweetener to canned pumpkin, zap it in the microwave and top with some vanilla almond milk...A nice pumpkiny pudding!

I was flabbergasted when my good friend took this intervention mentality with me....made me look in the mirror and weigh myself in front of her!!! She was urging me to eat....put some weight back on. I'm very conscious of making sound health decisions and was offended that she was implying I was being unhealthy. She, at…

In truth, I avoided the scale initially. Of course, fearful of what I might see. Must have been nearly 2 weeks before I checked. It might have crept up but I didn't see it....when I finally did check, it had gone down!

My kneejerk response, is to tell you to take in more calories on an average day- and certainly more than 1000 calories. It seems you might need more food to satiate yourself at your level of activity. Having said that, what's done is done. Let it go, wipe the slate clean. Eat normally and healthily for the rest of the day…

I started a thread a little while back regarding alcohol. I LOVE to have drinks with my gfs......go out and get silly and rowdy :-P. The reality for me is ,on a typical day, I can really take it or leave it (booze). However, I dig the buzz I get from having a few brews. Truthfully, without that, I would really choose to…

I will begrudge noone their drinks. Everyone's experience is different for sure. I just know that I do far better if I leave it out altogether. Might sound terrible, but I only feel game to take on those calories if I can enjoy the 'buzz' that might go along with them. As such, I would opt for something else to drink…

World of Warcraft, beer, and potato chips...not necessarily in that order....lol....

I love allegro cheese, ghankers....per one 30 g serving: calories 60, fat 1g. Cheers, and enjoy some cheese on those samiches!! lol :-)

Indeed, that is the biggest hurdle, Merz - realizing at the core that there is NO magic pill. Only then can you move on to the next step. And while I am no expert in these matters, it seems to me that if you have a history of binging, any type of surgical intervention might turn out to be your next sad story. Binging, as I…

Lara bars are one of my newest faves. Check out the ingredients for the apple one : Dates, almonds, dried apples, walnuts, raisins, cinnamon. That's it that's all!! I love them. Otherwise, perhaps an apple with 1-2 tbsps natural peanutbutter, berries with meusli and yogurt, handful of almonds and a fruit, veggies and…
