I eat a lot of turkey and tuna sandwiches and often will include 1 or 2 slices of Tillamook Medium Cheddar Cheese. The cheese is obviously very high with respect to fat content and I am looking to subsitute for a healthier low fat cheese or potentially no cheese at all. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I love allegro cheese, ghankers....per one 30 g serving: calories 60, fat 1g. Cheers, and enjoy some cheese on those samiches!! lol :-)
  • Leave out the cheese slice and add some salad and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar or light mayonnaise.

i'd load it up with lettuce, tomatoes, and possibly pickles and/or onions. Who needs cheese? I'd enjoy the cheese separately and savor it alone.

I use the swiss sargento cheese. It just adds a hint of cheese without to much calories.

I rarely eat cheese. Just leave it off. I guess I don't understand what you are looking for. Is it flavor?
