  • I am 5'9" and currently weigh 153 and am pear shaped. Not 100% sure what my dress size is at the moment, but size 10 pants are a little too big and size 8s are a little too small. At my goal weight (which is 144) I wore a size 6 dress, if it was cut a-line or full skirted.
  • I'm 5'9" and don't exercise, MFP has me set at 1310 calories per day, which for the most part I stay within. On the weekends, it's probably more like 1,500/day. I've lost 14 pounds since January 7th, so I'm averaging about 1.2 pounds lost per week. My starting weight was 169, current weight is 155, goal is 144.
  • You won't be sorry - it's seriously delicious!
  • I put an egg IN my oatmeal. Whisk it and stir it in just before all the liquid is absorbed. Adds protein, makes it even more filling, and even more delicious!
  • I'm not a nutritionist, but I think it's pretty good for you! Good source of fiber and protein, and filling. I eat it every morning for breakfast, and I'm losing weight!
  • Have you tried almond butter? I stir it into my oatmeal every morning!
  • That is a totally fair question, and I'm not sure I can answer it even to my own satisfaction! I used to have a friend who ate similarly, and she said she wouldn't eat anything she wouldn't kill herself. I admit it seems hypocritical to some degree - just because fish aren't cute and fluffy means they're okay to eat? I may…
  • I'm an ovo-lacto-pescetarian (sounds so complicated) - primarily plant based though I do eat eggs and dairy, and have fish about once a month. I became a vegeterian almost five months ago for ethical reasons that can be explained pretty much by the photo a couple of posts above mine. I loved meat, but I would think about…
  • I like it all, but of these three, Indian would be my favorite - lots of great low cal, high flavor options and as a vegetarian, it's SO easy to order at an Indian restaurant and there are SO many options (unlike many American restaurants). My favorite dishes are Aloo Palak (spinach and potatoes) and Paneer Tikka Masala…
  • Have you tried Bubble Up Enchiladas? http://www.recipe-diaries.com/2011/05/23/bubble-up-enchiladas-weight-watcher-recipes-part-2/ They are really good and 390 calories per serving if you make as the recipe directs. Before I stopped eating meat, I always made it with ground turkey, but beef would totally work, too. If you…
  • I MOSTLY use Pinterest for recipes, so I have several boards. Here are several - not all recipes are ultra-healthy, since I just started doing MFP in January, but anything pinned since then certainly will be! http://pinterest.com/rkray3/weight-watcher-friendly-recipes/ http://pinterest.com/rkray3/vegetarian/…
  • They are really, really good!
  • I've been vegetarian for about three months and have tried tons of new recipes - here are my favorites: Curried Chickpeas and Kale http://blog.fatfreevegan.com/2012/06/curried-chickpeas-and-kale.html I used spinach instead of kale, was still delicious! Black Bean Roasted Zucchini Goat Cheese Enchiladas…
