Even when i was not following low carb diet, i found it difficult to get enough proteins. Can someone please tell me if i can take protein supplement powder like isopure if i am not working out?
-
Thank you for the reply. I am just trying to follow a healthy LOw carb diet with 25% carbs, 45% protein n 30% fat. I usually eat vegetarian and eggs, so with just food if i increase my protein, i end up gowing higher in my carbs n fat. With isopure as its zero carb, i will be able to hit my protein target.

"you will gain the weight back eventually, how long can you resist eating like before" - a family friend . I wanted to tell her that I can still eat anything, I just control how much of it I eat. "you can do it because you are working from home and you do not have to commute" - a friend. I agree it makes it easier for me…

Ohh yogurt is one of my favourite things....I eat like 3 cups in a day, but I do not drink milk, at least not everyday Its my go-to snack with maybe a tsp of something mixed in sometimes like fresh mango/strawberry pulp for dessert or some bran flakes and a teeny bit of schezwan sauce for when I am craving something salty…

I have been asked this by many vegetarian friends who want to decrease carbs, but then I really cannot find any good sources except nuts and green vegetables. But you cannot have only these as a meal. Plus I know a lot of them do not eat soy and cannot eat paneer everyday. Beans, dals etc have a good amount of protein but…

Let me first say this, this is not painting your boyfriend in a bad light. My mother suffers from bi-polar depression and she has phases where she does not want to do anything except sleep all day. It gets frustrating when sometimes when she does not want even want to part of a family event or do any work. She does not…

Biggest challenge like many of us here is getting enough proteins. Yes lentils and beans have proteins but they are also calorie dense. I do eat non-vegetarian food but my everyday diet is mostly vegetarian except eggs. Also my challenge is eating out with friends, we always go to pubs where it is hard to say no to…
