Eating my meals off a lunch sized plate. Looks really full with less food on it and I stopped feeling like I was depriving myself. Mind games that work ed for me

I am this and taking high blood pressure pills and seeing the doctor regularly. 10 years ago I had low heart rate - no high blood pressure and morbidly obese. More than 6 inches of snow last nite and it is still snowing. Will someone please tell mother nature that it is supposed to be spring. More treadmill time.

I think that this part is totally true and I am sorry that your experience was so bad. But you can still look at yourself in the mirror and say that you tried your best and maybe it was just not meant to be. For my own weight loss journey I also want to know that I tried my best every day. Come what may.

And if you are miserable then maybe you could find out why and fix that . Miserableness is not a permanent condition, an aspect of personality that cannot be changed.

The hardest part of this journey no matter the quantum of the weight you start at or the amount you have to lose happens between your ears. This is March and you are wasting time worrying about Christmas already? Unbelievable. I can only stay in today and maybe tomorrow morning if it is garbage day. Could not keep all the rest in my head - would drive me crazy. I must be getting old.

moved 600 lbs of sand through 4 feet of snow 30-40 feet to bank it up around the house under the front deck so I would not get any more water into the basement. And I did not die. And I did my 30 minute on the treadmill before I moved the sand (7 am) and again at 4 pm. And I am still not dead. Who would have thunk it.

Yeah I get this one also. but I have noticed it is only from people who have also gained weight. I guess they need an excuse not to try.
