  • Ok in reality you don't 'need' to buy a heart rate monitor. Heck grab a piece of paper note how long you've been doing your jump roping, when you are done take your heart rate, a clock and your awesome counting will do the job. I'd just assume that you maintained that heart rate the whole time. Of course its probably…
  • To enter it as Cardio I'd think you'd need to know exactly how hard 'you' are working. I'd base that on heart rate. Here's my take. Start your workout, start the watch/hrm when you are done figure out what your average HR is. Next go run a 12 min mile or such and see what your heart rate is. If its the same then I'd go…

If I get up at 6:00am eat a few bowl of cereal, hit the trail and run 15 16 miles etc... I get home by 10:00/11:00. I'm hungry but I'm certainly not hungry while out there doing it.…
  • Cucumbers dipped in ranch? lol Sounds like tons of energy... or something...

If you can set a schedule and follow it (the hard part!) Then sure you can do it at home. If you need to see people working hard and people…
  • BMI is bull crap. How you can you not account for being male or female. We all know that muscle weighs more then fat, and woman have a higher percent of body fat then men. Hence the reason we love 'em! So no love lost ladies just that any system then figures out if you are overweight or under weight etc... needs to know…
  • Me as well. I log them for the nutrient values, not so much for the calorie count. When I started logging my meals was when I noticed that my vitamin intake was really low. Adding a multi vitamin to my diet has helped me my goals.
