Just dropping by to say hello to everyone! I finished my 1st time through the book last November. After a winter of not really following a new program, bought Strong Curves, but couldn't get into it, and eating like crap on vacation for a few months, I've gained a lot of weight and feeling pretty weak so I'm going to…

I am showing some strength progress in stage 5 and I know what they're aiming for, but is 120 rest really necessary, because my word does it make for a long fn workout.
-
I'm on week 3 of stage 1, previously did stage 1 & 2 before a few months off of travelling. I've increased all my starting weights and really enjoying going through stage 1 again.

Continually trying to get back into keto.

Well I have been getting in less lifting then I like and almost no running considering the skating rink it is outside. I hope January is going great for everyone else. I'm still trying to get my eating back in hand after two months of vacation and holidays, but three weeks till next vacation. Redoing Stage 1 and upping my…

I also plan on keeping up with my ability to run 10km, ordered some new yoga DVD's would like to increase to 3x a week, and want to add in…

Popping in to say hi! I'm on week five of stg 1 and really enjoying lifting again. Has anyone done keto with NROL4W? Planning on starting tomorrow and wondering how it will go?

My legs sidelined me from running so I think I might try the shred challenge out. I found searched and found a group at http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/23070-30-day-shred-september-2014 if anyone wants to join.

Bumping to remember to try later.

If you are going to enter your heart rate monitor or other exercise that the fitbit would capture, you could turn on negative calorie adjustments, it's a checkbox somewhere in the diary settings. It would compare your exercise with the fitbit at that time and cancel the extra calories put in, but still allow you to record…

Cut in half open side down on a cookie sheet with water, bake at 350 for 45 min, dump water from pan and flip over baking for another 5 min. Scoop out and mix with fresh grated parmesan and fresh sage leaves with a dab of butter plus salt and pepper.

I find working out on nights when I first wake up the easiest, gets it out of the way. I set up my day to record my food in 4hr intervals starting at 6am since thats just about the end of the day when I'm on nights and I rarely eat before that when on dayshift. Look at my diary if that sounds confusing.

Just took a cooking class in India and the cabbage recipe was my favorite. Shred 1/2 small head, add two chopped chillis, 1 cup grated raw coconut (or dried coconut soaked in coconut milk), 1/4 C water, 1 tsp tumeric, and 1 tsp of cumin to pan and sautee over med heat 8-10 min till dry. Add 1tbsp of coconut oil and mix…

I'm cringing at all of you wearing webbed gloves. Those are for doing water aerobics, if you wear them doing strokes you're training your fingers to stay apart which is WRONG! Invest in a pair of hand paddles if you really want to work on form and increase resistance. Look at swimplan.com if your interested in swim…

I have a fitbit and 99% of the time it syncs with my computer and transfers the information to MFP as soon as I turn the computer on so it works well that way. Lots of days like today I sit in front of a computer for 12hrs at work and there is no point wearing it, because I'm not moving. It is great for when your running…

There are some free online sites like swimplan.com that will personalize workouts to your swimming level. Not only will it be more interesting, but you'll actually get to work on your strokes. How hard you work really depends on what you put into it in swimming, because if your a good swimmer it is easy not not push…

You should take an axe and break into a stream for water or melt snow, because water for three days of heavy activity will be, well heavy. Also with the amount of exercise you probably have to worry about taking enough to eat and not trying to diet. Depending on your taste and your budget there is a huge range of options.…

There is a really good forum at jpfitness.com that is all about NROL4W, so if you have any questions on the book, take a look over there.

Medjool dates, just like candy.

One of my friends had it last month. She said you could see what went out in the tube and it sounded a little uncomfortable. She was doing it to balance her yeast level she said and I have no idea what that means or what else it does.

If you go to JPfitness.com the there is a forum on NRLFW and quite a few training logs / results.
-
Are you weighing the food you log or carefully measuring? It doesn't take much to overestimate how much you are eating.

My Diary is open, feel free to add me anyone.

I made a souffle with them once cause I had some leftover mashed in the fridge. I thought it was pretty good, the recipe was something like this and I just used skim milk/chicken stock in the roux. 3 tablespoons unsalted butter 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour 2 cup whole milk, warmed 4 large egg yolks 2 tablespoons grated…

Sometimes when I'm switching on or off night shifts I'm awake 24-35hrs and I know when I get really tired I think I'm hungry when I'm just dehydrated from staying awake so long or too much coffee. Keep in mind if you are actually awake and moving for that long you are burning more calories then you would on a regular day…
