  • Ditto on the scale. I finally got one and weighed the half cup of old fashioned oats I have been eating and I was way off in how much is actually in the half cup.
  • I typically log it as walking, 4.0 mph for how ever many minutes I did it.
  • Thank you, I think you were right about the hip flexor. I found some stretches which I think has helped quite a bit. I appreciate you taking the time to comment.
  • My music tastes are pretty varied, so I use Pandora and shuffle a bunch of stations like some 80s pop, and pop hits today, a little bit of hip hop, and 80s hair bands. It turns out pretty good.
  • I tried Run Keeper and it couldn't get GPS signal at my house. So I tried MapMyRun and haven't had any trouble. In fact, I love it! I keep it in my bra too, should get a case but eh for now it works.
  • Thank you for taking the time to post your success and include a little bit on what you daily life looks like! You look great and have done fabulous. I'm overly zealous of you TDEE's as I haven't been able to take that leap just yet, but desperately want to. So your story provides me with lots of encouragement and…
  • Your hair is so STINKIN CUTE!! I agree. I have not taken progress pics. In fact, I thought I was getting myself more in front of the camera but I'm really not. I took a picture this weekend of me and the hubs and I almost couldn't look at the picture. Not because it was fat, but because I don't identify with that girl yet!…
  • I have PCOS and I have lost 71 pounds since July 1, 2012, with no Metformin. I only took that stuff when I was trying to get pregnant and it made me feel awful! Carbs are my worst enemy as I'm sure you can relate. I try to keep them at a minimum and find I do better when that happens. Exercise and eat right and it will…
  • I didn't take a rest day until Level 3. And it was intended to be a rest day, I just couldn't fit it into my busy schedule that day. I'm not sure what the right answer is to this question, some will say take a rest day because JM says to on some blog. Some will say rest days is when all the magic happens. Some will say do…
  • AWE to the SOME!!! You look amazing! Love love love the dress. Just said to another great success story that it is so awesome to wear dresses again! Have to say ditto on the JM vidoes. It has worked for me and I stick with them! I've got the bingo wings too! They are decreasing just in very small increments! Thanks for…
  • Great job!!! Dresses!!! Don't you love them now???? I love trying on dresses now!
  • My first GW was 175. That was the weight I was about a year after getting married. I thought it was a good place to start. Once I started getting closer to that weight, I realized I may get to that weight but my body after having 3 kids was definitely going to look much different at that weight than it did when it was pre…
  • I started it for the second time last night. I did it the first time April 3- and finished it May 8 (took a couple off days). I had such great results, I said I'm going to do it again. But I'm not going to do 10 straight days of each level, I think I'm going to do Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, then 3, 2, 1. Mix it up so it…
  • Awesome! I'm almost there with one pound to go and like you can't wait to see the 160s! Great work!
  • I didn't take a starting picture. Really planned on it but I never got around to it. I started 30DS on April 6 and i finished it out this morning. I didn't take any breaks until I hit level 3 and had a couple days where there just where enough hours in the day for everything. But I did 10 days at each level, which had me…
  • Good luck! I had good momentum going into Level 3 and lost quite a bit of motivation. I'm glad I stuck with it!
  • My ticker is not updated, but I have lost 70 lbs total since July 2012 by just being more conscious of what I eat relative to what I burn. I set a goal of calorie intake, and set a goal of calorie burn. If I really want to have a piece of cake, I eat it, make sure it fits into what my goals are for the day and move on to…
  • It is a great day when nothing you have fits you because it is too big, that is for sure a success. But I also understand how it feels to have nothing to wear. Right now all the pants I wear to work are 1 size too big, which isn't that big of deal, but they are starting to really look too big. I have very few shirts. I…
  • Great job and what an awesome attitude. I too have found the scale has become less of my focus and more on just finding that peace with what I eat, what I do (exercse) and how it all feels. I think you have found the recipe to success and that is fantastic. I'm about an inch shorter than you with almost the same…
  • You look FABULOUS! Congrats! What kind of foods did you eat to increase your protein?
  • According to my HRM,I burn on average 230 calories in the 25 minute video. This has been pretty consistent through all 3 levels, with level 2 being a bit higher at times. Yes, intenisty is a huge issue. I was dog butt tired one night I did it and I know my intensity level was much lower, and it showed in my calories…
  • Newest results are awesome! I am on L3D4. Can't wait to get through the next 7 workouts and see where my results are. Wish I would have taken pics right from the start! I'll only have measurements to share. These results keep me motivated, thanks for sharing!
  • Great job! Thank you for sharing your results, it is so motivating when you are in the midst of this 30 day period! At least for me. Today is my last day on Level 2 and I can't wait to move on. Interesting to hear Level 2 is worse than Level 3, maybe I don't need to be so scared! Congratulations!
  • I am not yet through with this but wanted to offer you motiviation to keep it going. I am on L2D9! Two more days of level 2 and I am onto Level3. I haven't weighed, measured, or taken any pictures yet. I feel so much stronger, so much more fit than before starting this. Yup, it's hard, no doubt about that. Even Day 8 on…
  • Absolutely right! The scale certainly can be your friend or your foe. And honestly, I find it to be my foe more often but I think it is because of how I have wired my brain to think less is better. I haven't been on my scale in 18 days and it feels great. I have been eating in my range, working out like a crazy woman, and…
  • I am on L2D3 today. I have not weighed myself nor measured throughout this process. I knew I could get frustrated easily and with how tough the workout is, I didn't want to give myself the extra incentive not to complete it. That has been key for me. I took measurements and weight the first day. And I'll do measurements…
  • Novice question here: Do you use like a magic bullet to make these shakes? Or a big ole blender?
  • save for later
