I go with the mechine, cause only you know how fast you were going and such. plus if you go backward on it then you burn a little more then normal so go with it.

Have you tried just working out with maybe like yoga or something less intense? The same thing happen to my mom, and she is very upset, my hubby's knee to, he got a knee brace and wore it and it help him alot. Maybe you should do knee exercise, to strenghten the knee. I work out everyday, and earn extra but I dont eat all my calories anyway. If I aint hungry I am not eatting that much. Do what your body tells you. you might need those extra calories, but I dont. Yeah I dont know if I would do it or not, watch what you eat and exercise is the key. most the time you do those " so called diets" you loose water weight thats it, nothing more, and then you gain it back so y even mess with it.
