I like fat free or sugar free pudding cups, the 100 calorie packs of chips ahoy chocolate chip cookies, dove dark chocolate promises, or a cup of swiss miss diet hot chocolate. Not all at once though :) All low calorie! Mmmmm

there's nothing wrong with chocolate. It's how much you eat. I have found that if I freeze my chocolate and get a bad craving; it's very satisfing to eat a frozen piece slower and enjoy it more. If you don't feed your craving, you wil find that you will cave in and eat way too much. My specialist at Mayo advised me of this a while ago and it works.
    good luck

I keep a bag of Nestles Semi-sweet chips in the door of the fridge. When I have a chocolate craving, normally a teaspoon of that will completely satisfy me.
  • Fat free sugar free chocolate jello pudding......stick it in the freezer. if you use fat free milk to prepare it there's only 80 calories per 1/2 cup.
  • It's not a recipe, but I LOVE Mayfield Fat Free Fudge Stix - they are frozen popcicles that have 80 calories.....

I LOVE the Little Debbie 100 calorie Chocolate Cakes with chocolate icing. They are AMAZING! Weight Watchers has the exact same thing, and they are terrible.

    Chocolate Sorbet!

Safeway and Haagan Daz brands have about 120-130 calories per 1/2 cup. Add a few berries, and you've got a delicious low-fat, low-cal dessert.

I keep a good quality dark chocolate bar handy. When a craving hits, I eat a couple of pieces (around 120 cals worth). I like the idea of freezing it - must try...

Incidentally, in my neck of the woods we're having an annual chocolate festival, how good is that? And it's on right now.

    I remember those feelings.

Try Godiva Dark Chocolate Pearls, only a few grams of sugar or carbs for 8 of them.

Also Swiss Miss makes a hot chocolate that is great called Sensible Sweets with only 25 calories and 3 carbs per serving. SURE helps with the chocolate cravings without blowing your eating plan.

If you are a Costco member, here is something that is VERY SATISFYING...particularly if you like DARK chocolate: Brookside Dark Chocolate Covered Pomegranate:heart:

The package says 20 pieces is 180 calories, but these are so satisfying, 10 is PLENTY to take care of a "chocoholic fix" and that is ONLY 90 CALORIES!!:drinker:

I don't know where else these are sold, but if Costco every stops carrying them, I am in trouble!!

I can't believe I forgot to mention No Pudge Brownies!!!!! 120 calories a piece, and sooooo YUMMY!!!
  • My family has problems with their sugar so in stead of candy or such they make these sugar free pies. They are so good. Get some sugar free pudding, chocolate if thats what you want and make it with 1% milk. do it just like you were to make the pudding but only use 1 cup of milk, and get cool whip and use about a cup of that. whisk it together and put in pie crust, chill and you have a low fat low cal and no sugar but really really good dessert. I do it all the time, cause I love desserts but I dont feel cheated out of the good stuff, you can make many flavors so you dont get bord.

I found these Pillsbury brownies the other day that are like brownie bites--they come with a tray inside so it portions it out for you. There are 2 trays, 6 mini brownies in each plate. The only thing you add to the batter is water, so how much more convenient could it get?? I think the serving size was 2 brownies for 120 cals. Wahoo!! These brownies are on the cake baking aisle with the other brownies. MMM makes me want them now!

It's a little decadent, but the Betty Crocker Molton Chocolate Cake mini bowls are only 150 calories. I have one every week or so and I love them! For an everday craving, I enjoy a good no sugar added fudge bar. Only 40 calories...
