Thanks for the positive feedback. I bought the DASH book and even though I am counting calories and trying to eat right, I do not have a thyroid and am on synthetic thyroid and sometimes you need a little something more to help you lose.

They are made from a Japanese yam and they come in a plastic bag packed in liquid. They do smell fishy when you open the bag but if you rinse well the smell goes away. Then you blanche in boiling water for a minute. Or dry fry. I will have to check that out. I had them with marinara tonight. They are filling and were ok.…

Have 8 pounds to lose. When I reach that goal I will decide if I need to go a few pounds lower. My hubbie told me yesterday I was really looking slim so I think I am going to focus on toning next. Loving the support on MFP and the motivation I get from my Vivofit.

I love plain 0% Greek yogurt with fresh fruit or even a teaspoon of fruit preserves. It is lower calorie than flavored Greek yogurts and the protein keeps me satisfied. I drank two tablespoons in a cup of pink grapefruit juice before each meal. I think it did cut my appetite some but I did not see any greater weight loss. Two eggs scrambled in coconut oil - For omelet, add chopped tomatoes, spinach sautéed. Nonfat Plain Greek Yogurt with fresh fruit. Medifast bar or Think Thin Lean Fiber and Protein if pressed for time. Medifast smoothie with fresh or frozen fruit added.

I have my calorie limit set to 1200 per day but usually eat less with exception of one or two days a week, usually the weekend. My BMR is 1323. My TDEE is 1876. I am doing a modified medifast.
