Hmmm, not so sure. So what about if i buy some eggs that come in a box with a nutritional label on? Or a bag of apples? Or a carton of milk? Or a tray of chicken breasts? Or a bag of brazil nuts? Everything has nutritional values, wether they come in a packet that has a nutritional label on or not.

I don't cut out anything. At all. If I want to work it in my daily allowance I will. I enjoy food. Yes I want to lose weight but I'm not going to deprive myself from anything. If I want pizza, then I'll have a slice of pizza. You've got to do what works for you. I've lost 83lbs. I get people commenting on my diary that I'm…

I think i'm on about week 6 or 7 of doing mfp now and i've had 3 'cheat' days. I didn't plan them, and i had really good days until it got to the evening. I was just really hungry on those days and needed to eat what i was craving for and feed my hunger. I did it, forgot about it, and carried on as normal on the next day.…

hi, I'm in North Yorkshire, sent you a request. I'm pretty new, only on week 2 :)

You need to be realistic about weight loss. It's a long hard road, and if you set your goals too high, you're gonna land with a bump and feel disappointed. Every loss should be celebrated, no matter how small, it's all in the right direction. We all have good and bad weeks, if it was that easy, none of us would be here!!…

I love all veggies apart from celery. I won't eat it raw, but will eat it cooked in a dish if i have to. Sprouts are my fave, i've been known to eat a massive plate of them on their own just with gravy on  Carrots are a bit boring i think. I love butternut squash too. I roast it and make it into chips instead of…

I haven't cut out anything, but have had to seriously cut down on stuff like biscuits, cake and puddings. I still indulge when i need to and don't feel guilty about it. I would feel guilty however if i cut them out, then craved them then had a binge. The key for me is to eat them in a controlled way, and not miss out on…

I don't bother about natural sugars. It's added sugar that i'm intersted in. I could eat no crap sugar all day and stil be over on my sugar. If i eat my 5 a day i'm over my sugar limit. I don't take any notice of it anymore.

I don't count in tea or coffee either, but i do log them on my water intake, after all, it's a cup of water. 8 liters a day?! I hope you mean cups?!

I lost 77 lbs with WW, and am a gold member, but now my hours at work have changed i can no longer attend, so decided to sign up on here and keep a food diary. The calories that i am on actually work out to be around the same number of points that i was allowed on a daily basis at WW!! So to me, it's the same. The only…

I agree with ignore them. You need to be what you feel comfortable and happy with. It's you in your body, not them. There's only you know how you feel and have to cope with not feeling happy about yourself. As long as you stay in a healthy BMI and don't go underweight. People tell me I look too thin when i'm at my goal but…

When you first join mfp, it asks you what your activity level is and how much you want to lose on a weekly basis, and works out your daily calorie intake on that. daily housework should be included into your usual activity level, because it's what you normally do. I only ever track exercise as something extra to my usual…

I'm older than you

Too old for me. Sorry, no offence!!

Foods with healthy oils that are high in calories. ie nuts and seeds, oily fish, avacados, huomous, add olive oil or rapeseed oil for cooking. All great for heart health, helps get rid of the bad cholesterol, and an easy way of taking in enough cals if you can't eat enough.

If i'm craving sugar then i have some! It's about being sensible, not depriving yourself. Don't get too obsessive over not having anything at all sweet. I find that small meringue nests do the trick, high in sugar and low on calories. If it's all accounted for then i don't see any problem with it. I'd rather have a little…

Oh. My. Days. Why is he not father material? Because he watches porn?! Get a grip. My partner (we are not married) watches porn. I've watched it too. We have been together 16 years (since he was 19, and I 20) and have 3 children. Is he a bad father? NO! Is he a bad partner? NO! Just because what one person has experienced,…

If it's not interfering with your sex life, if he's not replacing you with the porn, then i don't consider it a problem. At the end of the day, you can get all the advice in the world, but it's what you feel comfortable with that is the main thing. It's you that's living with it and there's only you know how you truly feel…
