  • I roast them over the grill lighte0r (the ones you hold in your hand to light grills with), but it's been a while. Have been craving them for over a month now. Tempted to cave & buy these guys: http://www.amazon.com/Nouba-Marshmallows-Sugar-Gluten-Marshmellow/dp/B0029EICWS/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1310000583&sr=8-6
  • I think the HCG diet works cuz you are STARVING YOURSELF. It's bad news. Stay away.
  • I second the gum suggestion! I chew it after dinner, too, sometimes to help curb dessert cravings.
  • I think she means dessert in general. Monkeysocks, in America, pudding is like a gooey custard. Try fresh fruit with cream for dessert. It's one of my faves. Or get yourself some gelatine and good fruit juice (no sugar added is usually lower cal).

  • aim to drink 1/2 your body weight in ounces of water daily, darlin! If you weigh 150 lbs, you need to drink 75 oz to stay hydrated. Cut your milk back to 8 oz a day. Waffles are phenomenal. I totally feel your pain. I would eat pancakes, eggs, and bacon every morning if I could.
  • You need to up your protein, honey. Way too little protein. You should be aiming for 1g of protein for every pound of lean mass (ex: my goal is 100 a day, cuz I figure my ultimate lean weight goal is 135, subtract bones and organs... well you get the idea, right?) cut back on carbs, too. 200+ is way too high for anybody. I…
  • I want to know what you're doing to burn that many cals in a day! JEALOUS.
  • At the end of the day, it's not about losing 10 pounds. It's about adding 10 years to your life.
  • It's probably water retention, dude. I always weigh more the day after I hit the gym. Just keep trucking and the weight will come off. I've been on a plateau for over a year & I'm still here. You can't succeed unless you fail a little first.
  • we are throwing down some carnivore eats! sausages, steak, burgers, and I'm totally making maple bacon ice cream. BOO YAH! I'm sure hubby & his brother will carnage the watermelon in the fridge, while the little one chows down on veggies and ice cream.
  • I have the Ninja Master Prep set and love, Love, LOVE it! http://www.amazon.com/Ninja-Professional-Blender-Chopper-Powerful/dp/B003J518MW/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1309734527&sr=8-5 I use it daily. No joke.
  • Ultimate 135, prime 148 :)
  • I thought the HRM read better when it was "moisturized"? Try tightening it.
  • Don't have horses, but have had life long love & my parents bred Arabians when I was little. I used to run around with them, barefoot & half naked. I learned a lot. They treated me as a herd member. I got stepped on, kicked, bitten, and charged, just like any naughty foal would. I also had the good fortune to live 15 mins…
  • Q: "how do I trim my thighs?" A: "Run fast for your mother run fast for your father Run for your children for your sisters and brothers Leave all your love and your longing behind you Can't carry it with you if you want to survive" seriously, though, couch to 5k took 10 inches off each my thighs.
  • Xena (more the character than Lucy Lawless herself. I could never be LL, she's way taller than I am)
  • pick up some flaxmeal & use it to make muffins http://lowcarbdiets.about.com/od/breads/r/appleflaxmuffin.htm or take flax oil. Barleans makes some super tasty flax oil supplements in liquid form.
  • magnesium citrate, about 800 mg a day. I am a chocoholic, to be sure, but magnesium tames my "MUST HAVE!" into "Meh." And it's no wonder. Chocolate is rich in magnesium among other things. So either your body is either after magnesium or sugar. See if taking some magnesium citrate for a few weeks helps at all.
  • I highly recommend portabello mushroom caps for bread/buns. Tell me you can't drool over this bad boy: I don't miss bread at all, especially after discovering the portabello trick!
  • check out the Paleo diet/Primal Blueprint, it will really help with eating clean, and it also tends to be lower carb first LC choices that come to mind is meat (including eggs), pickles, cheese, berries, veggies, and heavy cream PS feel free to check out my diary. It's lower carb :)
  • Right? I want to lick the screen. Wait. What am I saying? HANDS OFF, GET YOUR OWN! :P
  • if you are craving a sandwich, grab yourself some portabello mushrooms, grill em up, and treat them like buns. Tell me you can say no to this beauty: chicken, tomato, avocado, bacon, and homemade chipotle mayo. If it was human & I was single, I'd marry it!
  • C25K gave me olympic sprinter thighs. Massive & powerful like a Quarter Horse ;) took 10 inches off each leg
  • FALSE grains are evil, period *giggles maniacally and runs away*
  • If you're not hungry don't eat. Follow your body's lead. When you are hungry, however, focus on eating nutritionally dense foods (foods that are healthy, but high cal-- avocados, Greek yogurt, steak, etc). You'll get to 1200 easily. Also, daily activity is already factored into your MFP when you signed up. If you're doing…
  • sorry, misunderstood. Still confused why anyone needs or would want to drink slimfast. I think it's blech. and yes to your original question. Eating at least 1200 cals & staying active will produce results. You don't need slim fast to do it though. Jus'sayin
  • if you are scared to try slimfast, why don't you just eat real food? check out the Paleo Diet & Primal Blueprint. Both are all about eating whole foods and an unprocessed diet.
  • high carb/low fat works, and so does high fat/low carb. Both can be high protein, low cal. Personally, I follow a high fat/low carb diet & think it's the more delicious option.
  • start your own herb, vegetable, and fruit garden. Learn to coupon like a ninja
  • run away from sportline. IMO they are crap. Get yourself a Polar or Garmin. No HRM is completely accurate, but sportline is the worst (personal experience). You should easily smoke through 100 cals every 10 mins.
