clean eating... now what?

Ok so I've been "clean eating" for about two weeks now. For those who arent familiar with it, I basically eat, fruits, veggies, lean meats and I personally dont eat anything with more than 10 ingredients in it (no bread). It's been going really good so far but i'm just getting bored with it...

For the last two weeks I've ate chicken for lunch and dinner (dont care alot for red meat n im not a fan of fish and just didnt buy any pork) with a veggie and fruit for snacks... I dont mind it but i want to start incorprating other foods into my diet. Is this a good idea or an I just going to fail again?

I'm not a bread eater (havent had it in two months) to begin with and lately i've really been craving a hoagie. But i dont want to eat the carbs if it's going to put me in reverse.

I admit I know nothing about food when it comes to eating (my husband is a personal trainer but he's away for the military) so i'm clueless.

Any idea, suggestions??

if you are craving a sandwich, grab yourself some portabello mushrooms, grill em up, and treat them like buns. Tell me you can say no to this beauty:

chicken, tomato, avocado, bacon, and homemade chipotle mayo. If it was human & I was single, I'd marry it!

I try to eat clean, but I'm not 100% clean. I still flavor my fish with tasty marinades and put bottled dressing on my salads (Bolthouse Farms brand has many healthy options).

Maybe just get a little more exciting with different herbs/flavors? Eating clean doesn't have to be boring, just takes some creativity with different flavor combinations. Maybe try a raw foods cookbook for some recipe ideas?

your body craves and needs carbs....eat fruit?
I eat whole grain bread and about 3-4 slices a day and still achive my goals.
just cut out white breads and breads that are not 100% whole grain....
    works for moi...

This sounds great for people that are wanting to get rid of bread, but keep a lot of other items:

You could easily NOT use the pepperoni and substitute a favorite meat or diced bell peppers.

I've been eating clean as well. I usually eat egg whites with veggies, oatmeal with bananas and raisins, plain baked sweet potatoes, quinoa, chicken, broccoli, romaine lettuce, peppered turkey deli meat, plain yogurt with fresh berries, ezekiel bread, etc. Hope this gives you some ideas. Have a great day!!!!
