@Yivs_87, the pain I had before surgery was very come and go. It all depended on what I was doing. Squatting wasn't possible and gong down stairs was problematic. But walking didn't bother me. It would begin to ache after being up for ext. periods of time.

I've had two meniscus tears on the same knee about 6-7 years apart. Had arthroscopy done both times. The extent of the tear will determine your recovery time. Most of the time, the surgery is easy and recovery is quick. I was back to work in a week, but sat and propped my leg as much as possible. Was released to full…

So nice to see I'm not alone here!! Looking for lots of support and motivation. I'm tired of looking in the mirror or getting on scales and being disgusted. I have not been focused on my eating habits for about the past year. Time to get it back together! Friends welcome!

I am looking into this program as well. I am most concerned about the meal plan. I am a relatively picky eater. Can anyone out there give me some feedback regarding the meal plan? (i.e: flexibility, substitutions, etc).

I agree with getting some properly fitted running shoes! Even though you are not running far right now, starting with the right equipment will help! Keep up the good work:)

This is so inspiring! I am registering for my first 1/2 Marathon tomorrow. The race is 2/2/14. I really can't believe I'm even entertaining the idea, but it's a goal I'd like to achieve.

I'm sorry that I don't have pictures! I finished the shred in 5/30. I lost 8.4 lbs and 6 total inches. The soreness will pass. Do as much as you can, and listen to your body to avoid injury.
-
Listen to your body and do what you can. If you keep doing it you will get stronger and your endurance will improve.

A heart rate monitor with a chest strap will give a the most accurate calorie count.

You can do it!! Level 2 is tough. The cardio is especially hard to me. But you will make it! WE will make it!
-
It's okay! But don't let i happen again :):):)

Not real sure how to "officially" answer your question, but I've been crazy busy all day and getting the shred in today is looking unlikely. In other words, if you need a rest day it's fine by me! I may be having one today by default!!!
-
Doing ok here. I will not be tempted by the scale until next week. I may have an anxiety attack next week Wednesday when I can't weigh in!
-
Business as usual here! Just no weekly progress checks!

Go to that dance fitness class! I do Zumba 3 days a week and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! It's a great feeling to burn 500+ calories with something that doesnt feel like real exercise!
