You know I just got the Body for Life book and it says that you should NOT eat before workout. Something about it causes your body to use fat in order to have energy. Are their differing ideas on this? I read varying thoughts. Now I'm so confused!!!

Can someone give us an idea what this is about? It seems like the website is very non specific. So you eat a MUFA at every meal? And Mufa's are avocados, almonds, walnuts and peanut butter (and I think some others)? Is this the extent of the diet?

Yeah i think i need to put the scale away. I guess I have just been acclimated to being a certain weight and thought i should get there again. Yeah I have been thinking about stopping weights for a while as well. But then again I don't want to lose any muscle I've built up. But it is so frustrating not to see the scale move!!!!!

I started it last week and I feel so guilty on those days I only do 20 minutes of cardio....lol. I actually increase my cardio a bit more than he says but i am pushing myself for at least 20 minutes like the program suggests. I noticed my waistline and stomach were different after about a month. I got so frustrated but after a month it began to become noticeably different. Don't stop....hang in and you will see it!

So a guy at the gym suggested I am probably not getting enough protein in my diet. So I tracked it and i get about 50 gms....well I am supposed to have about 100 since I am doing strength training etc. Otherwise my cardio will burn off my muscle instead of fat. I am so frustrated. I just started my 13th week of my better body plan..haha! Anyway....I go to the gym 6-7 days per week and i am keeping below 2000 calories prob 95 % of the time. I have lost 15 lbs which I am happy with but for the last 2 & 1/2 weeks my scale won't budge! Mind you, i am still at least 25 -30 lbs…
