  • That is hilarious!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for adding a little fun to the site
  • You know I just got the Body for Life book and it says that you should NOT eat before workout. Something about it causes your body to use fat in order to have energy. Are their differing ideas on this? I read varying thoughts. Now I'm so confused!!!
  • Thanks!!! That was very helpful. Maybe I will have to add one of those in to every meal. Guess it couldn't hurt huh?
  • So is there a list of Mufa's somewhere?
  • Can someone give us an idea what this is about? It seems like the website is very non specific. So you eat a MUFA at every meal? And Mufa's are avocados, almonds, walnuts and peanut butter (and I think some others)? Is this the extent of the diet?
  • Yeah i think i need to put the scale away. I guess I have just been acclimated to being a certain weight and thought i should get there again. But if i am putting on muscle instead of fat then one day it will all even out i guess. The scale IS the devil. I wish i had the attitude that it was ok to weigh a lot since i am a…
  • Yeah I have been thinking about stopping weights for a while as well. But then again I don't want to lose any muscle I've built up. But it is so frustrating not to see the scale move!!!!!
  • I started it last week and I feel so guilty on those days I only do 20 minutes of cardio....lol. I actually increase my cardio a bit more than he says but i am pushing myself for at least 20 minutes like the program suggests. Anyone doing this program that would like to discuss or even tell me if it worked for them, please…
  • Ok so I have been working out very good for the past 4 months. I have dropped about 18 pounds which I am ok with. But here's the thing. In the past month and a half the scale hasn't moved but maybe 2 pounds. However....my pants keep getting loser and I tried on a pair of jeans I haven't worn in almost 2 years and they fit!…
  • I thought 1 lb was 3500 calories????
  • I noticed my waistline and stomach were different after about a month. I got so frustrated but after a month it began to become noticeably different. Don't stop....hang in and you will see it!
  • Those are all great ideas. I haven't tried the calorie cycling. Guess I could give that a go....couldn't hurt...LOL! Thanks for some great ideas :)
  • I am still sitting at a plateau. I am following everything to a T. I have this site set at losing 2 lbs per week. I never go over my calories per day and I am working out 6 days per week. But for almost a month now my scale is set at the same point. To top it off my clothes fit EXACTLY the same. Ugh!! I even changed my…
  • Thanks guys....I'm thinking maybe I need to quit strength training until I get rid of the weight I want to and then maybe go back. I dunno.....just getting frustrated. But thanks for the help!
  • So a guy at the gym suggested I am probably not getting enough protein in my diet. So I tracked it and i get about 50 gms....well I am supposed to have about 100 since I am doing strength training etc. Otherwise my cardio will burn off my muscle instead of fat. Doesn't that seem like a lot? Anyway, does anyone else have…
  • Thanks guys!!! You have provided me with some great input and helped me stay motivated :) Last week I started a whole new strength training routine and I have switched from the elliptical to the Arc trainer (it's kind of like a gazelle I guess??). Anyway I am going to do this for a couple of weeks and see what happens. I…
  • I am so frustrated. I just started my 13th week of my better body plan..haha! Anyway....I go to the gym 6-7 days per week and i am keeping below 2000 calories prob 95 % of the time. I have lost 15 lbs which I am happy with but for the last 2 & 1/2 weeks my scale won't budge! Mind you, i am still at least 25 -30 lbs…
