No, you don't have to join a gym to lose weight. I would say you would if you want to tone your muscles, but if you have 100 lbs to lose you aren't going to see those muscles until you get your body fat percentage way down. Its not unrealistic, you just have to adjust yourself gradually. The early morning is the most beautiful time of day in my opinion. Everything is so peaceful and the colors in the sky are amazing.

Try potato salad with red potatoes instead of brown, they are less starchy and better for you over all. Also if you want mayo, you can always use Veganaise (tastes JUST LIKE mayo imo) or the low fat mayo made with olive oil. There's really nothing good about mac and cheese no matter how you spin it.

Chips and salsa from Mestaurants (in moderation of course) I've given up almost all processed sugar, other forms of potato chips, corn chips and all manner of junk foods. But I will NOT give up warm tortilla chips with authentic salsa.

I took this picture after losing my first 25 lbs (before I joined my fitness pal). I am too embarrassed to show my before picture, at least now anyways, but after I reach my 50 lb total goal I will replace it again :)
