My doc prescribed 2 times a day but told me to take it only once a day for the first week so by body could get used to it. My advise is call your doc let him or her know what is going on and ask them what to do.

I meant to say that i do almost the same thing.. minus the cream soup and sour cream. i will have to try the sour cream or possible yogurt at the end next time.

thanks everyone.. I guess this is going to be harder than i thought. I do like the idea of a unwich, and just eating the fast food without the bun.. and i have just gotten a take out side salad, just feeling so deprived when i need to go to a fast food place with family or freinds. good ideas. thanks

I might be way off.. but possible a reactions to the mushrooms or sauce.. I have seen some one close to me get all red in the face, and have the syptoms you stated.. he also gets a cough when eating at a chinese place.. it happens to him at the same restaurant but not every time.. funny thing is he orders the same thing…

I love special K's new crisp chips, you get a lot for a serving and I have some protien with them like a cheese stick or almonds.. they dont seem to spike my BG.

if you are new at this.. know that everyone is diffent. My doc wants my blood sugar under 130 for am fasting, and under 180 when i check it 2 hours after a big meal. stick with it and keep checking your levels you may learn what triggers you have. My nutritionist did tell me as a experiment to take my level before a nice…

Cameo530 thanks for the tips, I thought protien shakes were just for those trying to gain weight.. I will have to check them out. you gave me some great grab and go items ideas that i will have to try out. I also like the Nutri grain waffles, but like your ideas of the peanut butter and using it as a wrap. thanks again.
