I track my weightlifting in Body Space. I like that it gives me a one rep max, and I find I progress faster when I remember what I did last time. It can be a bit cumbersome but overall big fan.

Right there with ya girl, could have written that myself!

Spent the last eight years getting diagnosed, don't put all your eggs in the thyroid basket just yet. Our bodies endocrine system is so complex and interwoven, you might be surprised as things develop that there is more than meets the hormonal eye at first glance. All the best!

If he's a crass jerk then you know what you're dealing with, not that it makes his *kitten* behavior acceptable. One thing I know about bullies is they have no backup plan. When you don't play his game you will bring him pain. Take a big bum over a big mouth any day!!!

I have two. What other people think of me is none of my business. For the times mental toughness is waning I enjoy "looking good, feeling good, oughtta be in Hollywood." Really important you say that one with outrageous enthusiasm

It's a natural consequence of staying up later and burning more calories. All about that protein at bedtime.

Right here, and these responses are trash. I got you!!

Hurray for no mobs or gym induced trauma lol!!! It's just as much your gym as it is there's, enjoy!

Fatigue or just run down? Or like I must sleep now or else sort of thing?

Has it happened before? I experienced a drastic downtrend in cardio fitness combined with getting loopy and almost passing out, almost out of nowhere. Would be curious if it was a onetimer or something haunting you. Personally if I don't do fasted exercise I get a case of the vapors :P

I eat it back, focusing on protein specifically. Yes I have had a plain chicken breast as a bedtime snack. This is a bit of a generalization but 1200 is not sustainable for the long term, and will directly contribute to leptin sensitivity. Personally I think you look fantastic in your profile pic! Give your body protein to…

I train my heaviest on days of temptation, thus avoiding day after sadness lol. Office buffet Friday? Extra long training session Friday morning, always before, never after. Not sure that helps but it sure beats feeling sorry for yourself 24 hours after the damage is done :)

I find keeping the mentality that I'm focusing on nutrition and training, vs. diet and exercise to be really helpful. Plus going b@tsh!t crazy because you missed a workout is a large motivation for me :P Any sports on your some-day-maybe bucket list?

Thank you everyone for so many thoughtful responses. JeanieWww I think you hit it on the head, really I just need to stop putting myself down. I have been through some traumatic health experiences over the past 8 years, which caused a ton of animosity in our relationship as I couldn't function. Truth be told I'm probably…

Please don't think I'm being a jerk, but you need a kick in the *kitten*. Often when I fall off, starting small fails me more than anything. Try to go for a five mile walk and push through. If that fails ask yourself... if my house burned down would I be able to rescue my family in this physical state? I hate using fear as…

I'm slowly working my way through this list. What I like is that you prep everything then freeze. So you just throw your meal into the slow cooker and off you go. I am a slow cooker junky, Martha Stewart has a ton of slow cooker recipes that are ultra clean as well. That's just how she rolls :P…

Add me if you like :)

I really enjoy the Body Space app from bodybuilding.com You can pick a beginner level program and go from there, great mobile tracking. I started with the Dumbell Only Workout by 'silentforge.' It made a big difference with just three days a week. If you give it a shot you are welcome to add me on there, RBrayEasyDay :)

I can not speak to the Bi-Polar, although I know there has been a 4000% increase in diagnosis over the last decade. Get a second opinion, and a full metabolic and hormonal work up on your blood. Not saying that to be snarky but be sure :D PTSD & Depression I have struggled with, the biggest help to me was Omega 3's. Sounds…

First, google catabolism. Second, how many grams of protein are you getting down the hatch?

Plan your meals ahead of time and premake some healthy snacks. I have done two rounds of Insanity and no matter how my conditioning progress' I get ridiculously hungry. Make it count :D I also agree on the above posters comment, do not try to keep pace. Do as many of each exercise as possible, and really try to put the…

I second this, please get yourself to professionals who can help you. Much love.

A really good book that covers the plateau in painstaking scientific details is Body Confidence by Mark McDonald. Long story short, if you've been hard on your body with yoyo dieting, it may have decided the weight you are at right now is a safe 'set point.' As in, she's starved us before, and this is a safe place to stay…

So what does 2000 calories at McD's actually get you... did the guy even get two meal a day?

Theres a fun plan finder on bodybuilding.com. If you have a smart phone, download the body space app and you will be able to track your workouts even with rest timers. Each exercise has a link that completely explains how to complete it. I find it really helpful, it keeps me focused, and I look like less of a dweeb :D

I specialize in obsolete, hard to find, and very high end auto parts. I get to do everything from massive off highway tracked vehicles like the Nodwell, to drag racing cars etc. Love my work and I hope to complete my MBA and go on to run an OEM one day. Dream big!

... but would it qualify as a rest day?

I'm a 4:45 girl and my suggestion to you is buy a coffee maker with a programmer. Mine brews a pot at 4:15, I stagger downstairs around 4:30, have a huge glass of water and a cup of black coffee. I sit and breath deeply for 15 minutes while I enjoy the coffee. Then its on to business. This sounds ridiculous but I am…
