Doing A tonight...going for my 87 lb rows and 92 lb bench, which I failed last time. I need to make sure I eat enough today! Squats will be 125, but I'm pretty sure I can hit those okay. I'm heading to Vegas tomorrow so I won't be working out again until Monday...but I *will* be drinking!

Lusy weekend=non-lushy week. I had one grapefruit/vodka on Monday and nothing on Wednesday...mostly because I'm in the throes of PMS (sorry to our mens for the TMI) and I'm eating ALL THE FOOD right now, so I run out of cals for vodka. :sad:

Soos, for me, the biggest thing to busting past my "plateau" if you want to call it that, was just adding fractional amounts of weight--so my fractional plates were key. It took me forever to get to 50 pounds...and then another several weeks to get to 55.

I'm actually enjoying the OHP more now...busting past 55 pounds, while it took forfrellingever, it was game changing! Like it gave me more confidence to push myself even harder on the other lifts. Honestly, the only lift I don't LIVE are the rows.

Vette, looking fab, woman!! Did A today and failed on my bench and rows again...well, not "again" as in in a row. squats: 120 3x5--felt good bench: 92 5, 4, 1 rows: 87: 5, 5, 3 I had a couple dudes compliment my squats and ask for tips on how to get *kitten* to grass, so that was fun!

Tameko, that's a great stretch for forearms! If you do it finger by finger, it hits every bit of the wrist and forearm too--I had my kids do it all week between their testing. Xidia--your leg looks like it's playing peek-a-boo!

Yep, those are the ACL's--knee ligaments are notoriously weak in us wimmen, so that's yet another reason why lifting is so great for us--strengthens those muscles around the knee to give it extra support. re: c-sections...both of my kidlets were born via c/s. Great numbers everyone!! I DIDN'T FAIL TODAY! Whew! Squat: 3x5 115 Bench: 3x5 90 Row: 3x5 85 The last 2 reps of my last bench set was tough, but manageable. I was at my "regular" gym, and I don't know if it's mental or what, but I just lift better there.
