  • Autoimmune Paleo removes all the inflammatory triggers and then gradually reintroduces some after gut healing has taken place.
  • Frozen veggies also make things easy.
  • I did paleo for just over a year, and felt wonderful. I have IBD and it helped with a lot of the symptoms. I became pregnant and veggies and red meat just tasted bad to me, and I fell off the wagon. My baby is now almost 8 weeks old and I want to feel good again. So I am back on the wagon. The sugar cravings are no joke,…
  • I am 5'1 and I dont like how I look at less than 125. I got down to 122 at one point and I have no boobs at that weight. I am 127 and I am strictly maintaining. Yay for having boobs again. It like it because I dont have to do that 1200 calorie net nonsense anymore.
  • BMI is just a tool, and it doesnt mean anything on its own.
  • My husband and I cut out daily soda when we moved in together. We drink club soda with a little bit of fruit juice when we want something fizzy. Add a little vodka if you want a low cal alcoholic beverage.
  • You dont have to eat them all back but you should eat some back, or you are going to feel weak, tired and *****y, and then you are going to binge hard core. I ate most of mine back, and I got to goal weight. However if you only exercise like once a week its not a big deal. If you work out everyday, you will burn out.
  • P90X. That is what I did, and I loved it. It takes more time, but if you think you can commit an hour a day then I say do it. Your body will change for sure.
  • I season with italian seasoning and spread a tbsp of light mayo over top and then top with parm cheese. I bake at 375 for about 15-20 till it looks golden brown and bubbly. My 5 YO love this dish.

  • My mom cooks them in a hungarian goulash. She makes spetzel too and serves the goulash over it. I love chicken hearts that way.
  • This is more of a genetics thing than an exercise thing. If your skeletal structure allows for it, this will be easy to achieve, and if not, then you will have to become anorexic to get one. Many fit athletic women do not have a thigh gap. Its trendy for whatever reason, and I dont think they are realistic for most healthy…
  • Maple dijon is pretty easy. Equal parts real maple syrup, and dijon mustard. Add some salt and pepper and brush on to salmon. Bake for about 20 min or until done at 375F.
  • Whenever you stop, lap your truck a few times. Its not much but it adds up. Who cares what people think.
  • Be careful with form. I am pretty fit. I finished P90X before starting Insanity, and I sprained my AC joint in my shoulder 2 weeks into the program. 4 weeks in and its still not healed. I can walk, jog, and do some plyo but all workouts involving the arms are out for now. I am so grumpy about that.
  • You are kidding right? You ate 2 cups of lettuce in an effort to get MORE calories?! Eat some bread.
  • We dont eat steak very often so we usually have steak dinner. Usually a nice t-bone, with asparagus and a stuffed potato. Then we have chocolate something for dessert.
  • Maybe the whole grains stabilize your blood sugar and that is what is helping. You may have to experiment with the corn. Good news! They have brown basmati rice.
  • I live in a mountain town with lots of hills, so yes I walk on occasion. Running in a high altitude with hills, makes it super easy when I run in flat areas in a lower altitude. I did a 10K in the city and I was surprised how much easier it was to breathe and run.
  • I am not there yet but I lost 15 lbs by working out everyday, and netting 1200-1300 cal per day.
  • You can work your abs all you want, but until you lose the fat on top you will not see them. Fat loss comes from a deficit. Muscle comes from work. You can find a million effective ab exercises on youtube.
  • Get your thyroid checked. Being pregnant and having a baby can change the way your thyroid works. It can also cause fatigue and depression and weight gain.
  • I dont find my food bland at all. I use lots of herbs and spices, and I use sea salt to season to my family's taste. I make lots of soups, stews, curries, and sauces and stirfrys from scratch.
  • -Whole wheat crackers, like Breton with laughing cow cheese -Mixed nuts or trail mix -Yogurt with fruit and bran buds or ground flax on top -Banana with peanut butter on toast -edamame pods dipped in soy sauce. -veggies and dip made from plain yogurt and a ranch dressing packet -Apples dipped in peanut butter or yogurt…
  • I put it in oatmeal. I also add it to muffin recipes.
  • I am in remission now. I am down to one maintenance med, and I try to eat a whole foods diet. I also take some herbs and supplements, and this combo seems to work.
  • I did for 8 months to try and help my crohns, and it didnt work. I wrote him and he told me to try an cut wheat as well. It is not realistic to cut meat, dairy, eggs, AND wheat. What the hell is left to eat? So I gave up on the diet. I still eat meatless dishes, because I like variety, and its more economical, but I didnt…
  • Great job!! I loved P90X. I am doing Insanity now, but I still do the Ab Ripper X on my day off.
  • I take a combo of cats claw, turmeric, ginger, and fish oil for my inflammation. I find this combo works well.
  • Get a new video. Insanity doesnt require much. 30 Day Shred just needs some small weights. Ripped in 30 is another good workout.
  • Another thing you can try is half salt, in place of salt. Its half potassium chloride half sodium chloride. Sprinkle it on food or put a pinch in your recovery drink.
