@Jtalaskamom I used horse stall mats for my flooring. They're sold at tractor supply. They are 39.99 for a 4x6 piece. Much cheaper than the fitness companies.

Like your set up. Is that a Marcy gym system? I was too afraid of scratching the floors in my upstairs and the basement was just convienent.

Another good bodybuilder to follow is steve cook. I always enjoy his V-logs and fitness tips. Been working on my lifts in the comfort of my own basement as well.

Protein is very important, it helps you to build/retain muscle and is a huge energy source. Lean proteins are: eggs, shrimp, chicken breast, and fish. Some cheap options are liquid egg whites and tilapi/ salmon filets. You can check into protein supplements such as whey if you're just finding it hard to hit your macro…

I would just give it a couple more weeks before cutting back calories... Your calories seem spot on. Are you drinking enough water? Did you just start working out or have you been throughout your weightloss?
-
You want to slowly increase your calories until you're gaining 0.5 - 1.5 lbs a week. Id recommended still eating the same healthy foods that you have been while cutting, but just eat more of them or a protein shake or two throughout the day. Congratulations on the weight loss, that's something to be proud of. Also: may…

Long story short: most of it is probably water weight. I'm sure before you were eating a lot more carbs and sodium which cause bloating.

Take a sliced apple and sprinkle with cinnamon. Microwave for about 15 seconds. Tastes like apple cobbler.

My grandmother has taken it for several months, and she swears by it..... It may be effective as an appetite suppressant, but I highly doubt it's a miracle fat burner that Dr. Oz is portrays it to be. I personally don’t like putting pills in my body, especially ones that are not FDA approved. I would recommend just using…

That's awesome. I've lost 40 pounds and I can't see as much of a difference as you! Looks way more than 25, you must really be hitting the weights! Keep it up

Thanks everyone!

Great job! You look like a totally different person now

Myfitnesspal only caculates cardio exercises for you. You can add weightlifting, but it has no calorie value. If you know how many calories you burn weightlifting (Heart rate monitor) you can add weightlifting as a cardio option. Hope that makes sense!

Thanks for the comments everyone. I'm very glad I decided to take progress pictures.... It is hard for me to look in the mirror and see that i've lost anything.
-
You're looking great....Keep it up!

Thanks a lot for the advice! I lift weights about 4 times a week and do cardio daily. I'm an ex football player so i've always loved the gym.
-
Thank you! i'm trying to fix the picture..

Myfitnesspal only caculates cardio exercises (which is probably way off on the calorie count). If you want to track things like weight lifting heart rate monitors are accurate from what I hear.

The colon can hold up to 4-5 lbs of stool. So yes it's very possible. Lol

I gave up sodas about two months ago.... The first week was really tough. I actually had dreams about eating cake. I'm guessing it was from the sugar withdrawals. Lol... I don't regret it at all. I feel great now. Goodluck

Thanks for the advice.... I am about 6'3 235... I was on an hcg activator program for a little while, so it has been hard for me to ease my food intake up again. I still plan on dropping a few more pounds of fat, but I would like to put on some muscle too. Thanks for the help, i'll try to start eating a better diet.
