I have found it helps to eat whatever you like but in moderation. This works well for me. Also it is wise to consider it a life style change rather than a diet. Just hang in there and as long as you are at a deficit you will lose. Don't forget working out helps alot.

I too was a pepsi addict. Now I don't care for the taste. It's hard to deprive yourself but its worth it in the end :) GOODLUCK !!!!!!!!!!!

The same thing happened to me. I lost 25 pounds and then nothing. My daughter suggested i start strenght training. Well ive done that and still not much weight loss but i feel healthy. Also i started slipping on the water. Did you buy new clothes ? If so when your tempted to slip back into old ways think of the "new" you.…

I don't track regularly now. For me it has helped to be conscious of what i eat. My daughter told me its not a diet its a life style change. That was wonderful insight. I have bought into that hook line and sinker. So i now eat healthy and my fitness has helped me to know what a correct portion is. I live in Texas and…

Quite a few homemade items are in the data base. Also i have learned eating home made foods are much healthier than restaurants. I took the time at the beginning to research the calories in a lot of the things i was cooking. Most of the families favs i was able to reduce the sodium and calories just by switching to…

I did it and it has worked for me. I was on a strict 1200 calorie intake and i seemed to have stalled. But i got a bit loose with it and things have gotten better. You have to see what works best for you. It is absolutely true that all of our journey's are unique.

I always see a lot of people say a person needs to eat lots of food. That is very silly to me. Eating lots of food is what made me over weight. Once i started being health conscious i started only eating when i am hungry. Except mornings i make myself eat breakfast. If your plan is to eat when your hungry i don't see what…

I agree with the no processed foods. I have started taking them out of my meals. It is excellent advice to not think of it as a diet more of a lifestyle change. I am on the path to being healthy and state of mind is key.

Drinking lots of water may help.
