I graduated Nov 27 running the 5K in 45 mins. Ran my first 5K Sunday Dec 2nd. Bib #127 finishing in 38 mins. Watch for me May 2013 in the Indy 500 Mini Marathon :)

Y member here! I do power yoga, treadmill, swimming and I will start lidting this week. My daughter takes ballet and kid zumba. WE HEART THE YMCA!

I am in week 6. 12-13 min miles. i think thats about 4.7 to 4.8. My goal is to complete the 5k in less than 45 mins. After that I'll work on speed...

Thats what i thought too. I ended up just re-running Week 6 Day 1 but switched from distance to timed. It felt great to be back!

Wow! Been there! When I hit 40 was when it started for me. Have you tried Estroven? That helped me.

Thanks so much! And I have to say- Week 5 gets better! You run longer so you have time to change your stride while running and slow down and speed up depending on how you are feeling. I think when you run shorter intervals you don't have those opportunities so this week has been a nice change. The other thing I noticed…

I got the Brooks Cadence and love them. Really like that Brooks offers a 30 day trial too. But I have ran 5 weeks now with no problems and truly belive its all about the shoes!

I have noticed I have some good runs and some days are just harder than others. I just keep going and look forward to the better runs...

I have noticed a lot of huge cakorie burn numbers here too so i am a little skeptical on some "burn" numbers my fitness pal gives. For example- i can run/walk for 30 minutes and my monitor will tell me i burned 225 calories. Then i will see here someone cleaned house for 30 and burned 850 calories. Doesnt seem to add up?…

I had a horrible time with night eating too. I now put most of my calories in for breakfast and I eat a handful of almonds with tea before bed. That seemed to break the cycle of night hunger for me. 9-Oct : 325 calories a. 325 - Power Yoga 60 mins I gotta pick it up to make it! But then I am not counting normal activities like cleaning, walking and work, etc.... I am in week 3 of C25K. I use the Cool Runnings program on my phone. My first 5K should be in december but the MudRun sounds like fun! Good Luck!
