  • I would see that as a red flag myself. Trainers should know better. I would look for another trainer.
  • Your diary reflects what I would expect to be a weight loss rate of about a pound per week- that is cause for celebration! If you want to lose faster you will have to eat less but why rush it? Slow safe weight loss is best. How much muscle have you put on? That I also probably playing into the equation.
  • HRM, 900 calories in 30 minutes is very unlikely.
  • Just a thought- if you can talk and breathe just fine, is it possible your HRM is not accurate? I would see if I could borrow one from someone else and see if you get the same readings. I have found discrepancies in mine and it is a pretty expensive one.
  • I my vote is also that it was something other than the chicken in the meal. If you are going to be meatless make sure you are getting your protein in from other sources.
  • I am 48 and have been up and down. I just joined a challenge at the gym, I think this is about my fourth go around. I can lose the weight but I have trouble keeping my focus to keep it off. Remember- calories in vs calories out is what it is all about. How many calories are you eating? Are you tracking faithfully?
