Licorice peppermint tea usually helps me - sweet w/o sugar and the mint cleanses the palate.

Adagio teas were the first to get me hooked and their website is very user-friendly. Since moving to NYC, I have found Harney & Sons which have several delightful blends as well. I just bought myself an electric kettle - so awesome!

Good post Chevy! I'm in the same mindset - if make smart choices, lose slowly, and don't completely deprive myself, the weight will come off and I'm more likely to stick with it.

Agreed. Although there are plenty of negatives to diet soda that I'm sure others can expound upon...

Sometimes electronic scales need to be re-zeroed after they're moved. With mine, you just "tap on" and wait until it turns off again. If you still have your manual, I'd check on this.

Yay! That's awesome! Being mindful of what you eat really is powerful. Keep up the good work!

Working twelves is very tough on the body and I am NOT a morning person, so I know I am setting myself up to fail if I try to squeeze in a tough workout. I do walk a leisurely 45 minutes to work, moreso to help me wake up and clear my head more than anything. I also take the…

This topic reminds me of an "incident" I had early in my relationship. My boyfriend at the time (now husband) and I were walking through the local shopping mall. We strolled past a certain store and I commented (in typical fat-shaming talk) "I love the clothes there but I'd have to lose 50 lbs to even walk through the…
