Very enlightening how you came to an eating pattern to stay within your weight range. I have a long way to go before I get to maintenance but will be looking forward to using your strategy to stay at a goal weight range. From what I understand, you are eating three meals a day for a few days, then eating a couple days on…

Very interesting video. I didn't know our thoughts were that powerful and how, with practice, we can forget old thoughts, experiences, and habits when we think differently.

I wish your friend would just try this way of eating. I'm serious when I say that I'm losing faster than I have on any other program. I've lost 8 pounds in one month and prior to this program I lost 28 pounds in 10 months. If I lost 8 pounds a month when I started last October I would have lost 80 pounds on this program by…

Name: Linda Weight: 204 Height: 5' 4" I have had a thyroid problem for a long time and take a high dosage of medication. I had Hashimoto's disease and cancer which caused me to gain a lot of weight because I was bed-ridden for six months. I've been trying to lose since that time and it has been a challenge for sure. I…

Congrats on your weight loss so far! You look smaller and your face is so much thinner. I can certainly tell a difference and you look happier.

I've been having a protein shake for breakfast and eat one meal a day, usually between 4-5 pm. I don't overeat. I get full quickly now but know I can't eat again until the next day so I try to finish my healthy meal. Use a 10" plate and put a normal amount of food on it. Meat, vegie, carb, and desert, if you like. Do not…

You have really changed your life. I'm so happy for you. My biggest change is similar to one of yours. I pay attention to what I eat . It comes pretty naturally for me since I've been eating better for a good while now. I still have cravings sometimes and try to work it into my diet. I measure out my portions and stay…

Check out the one meal a day program. From what I've read, you lose your cravings and can eat a healthy meal with desert if you want on a 10" plate. You have to pick a four hour period and eat your meal within an hour during that period. Also, once a week you can splurge and have two plates of food if you wish just as long…

A W E S O M E post. Your success and advice is motivating. Great job. Thank you!

Thank you for sharing these websites. I'm looking forward to learning more about this way of eating. Planning a menu for three meals and two snacks is just too much time spent thinking about food. Planning one meal a day is much more appealing to me. Reading your post jogged my memory. This woman I knew about 20 years ago…

Awesome job! You look great!

If you're discouraged, try maintaining for a while. You will need to up your calories a little at a time until you are at a calorie range where you're eating more but not gaining. Also, most people eat the same foods so you should already know approximately the calories of everything you eat so it shouldn't be too…

64 here and wondering how I got to this age because I don't feel like it. Slow metabolism due to thyroid and have to fight for every pound I lose. Losing very slow and exercise seems to help the aches and pains somewhat. Friend me if you like. I'm on every day. Good luck!

Awesome success....you look great!

Someone said to wrap yourself in cotton and I agree! You sound like a very determined woman and look how it's paid off. Not only are you changing but your husband is now going to join you which will help you stay motivated. It's nice to have a weight loss pal. The best of luck to you on your continued journey. I'll know…

Thanks for the information I will check with his doctors to see what they suggest.

He is severe bipolar, suicidal on most days, has been under psychiatric care off and on since he was 8 years old and continually got worse until he had a breakdown six years ago. He takes over 1,000 mg of medication a day which helps him sleep most of the time but has contributed to the weight he's gained. His psychiatrist…

Yes he will make a profile.

He is 34 years old.

Your shape is very nice. I'd say another 10 pounds and then add some weight training but this all depends on how you feel. If you feel content with where you are then stop losing and start firming. I've lost weight in the past and I'm like you in the sense that when I looked in the mirror I would still see the fat person.…

Bump for later inspiration.

You are an inspiration to so many people. I'm going to share your post with my son who has given up on losing weight. Thank you! You look much smaller and happier. I wish you the best in your continued weight loss. It appears you're in the right frame of mind to reach your goal.
