  • Yeah.. umm, its a joke. Not even my wife dates me
  • Dude, the chances are at some point in your life a homo has looked at your penis whilst at the urinal. Go ahead and get naked. Just remember your butt plug incase those raging homo's try and do anything! Most homophobes are gay and in denial. Its like when you pick on the one girl you like in school. You're being super…
  • Start weight training and toning up. You'll be glad you catch it now, better to start sooner than later
  • Thanks for the great tip!
  • Thanks Dan. Friends request sent if you dont mind! We can give each other running tips if we're at the same point
  • yeah why not. I dont know how much, maybe $10? haha
  • Male or female? Whats your starting weight and whats your goal? What type of exercise? Just seeing if we have a few things in common. I do add plenty of people but i normally have to be interested in them first. Tell us more about you and you'll get more requests :)
  • Personally i think its a waste of money. Back in the day it was popular because you had guidance, a little calculator and you felt like you could achieve something. Now you have free apps, easy logging and a regular weigh in. With friends on here you can support each other just as much as you could at WW. Why waste that…
  • Calves (years of basketball and karate make them nice and big!) Chest - naturally a good frame Hair - Genetically I shouldnt go bald. its nice and thick so im hoping it stays that way
  • I like to check how fast people are running on the treadmill so i know what the average speed is of most people. Its an important stat to know to survive a zombie apocolypse. You dont need to outrun a zombie but you need to outrun the slowest person :)
  • @Moounir you're right, I wasnt expecting to make it that far which is why it was such a victory for me. I've been mixing strength and cardio for 3 months now and some HIIT like basketball games. I've just never had much endurance though so I was suprised. @Kaysa, High 5! i'm proud to join the club and i'm already looking…
  • mycrazy - nursery teacher
  • I'm obviously some way off at the moment but I plan on easing my way into maintenance whilst logging, logging for a few months after maintenance and then stopping. I will continue to weigh in weekly and as soon as I reach 5lbs +/- goal then I will start logging again until im back to goal. I'm thinking of keeping MFP more…
  • There is no cheap way to do the work clothes thing but what I've been doing for general clothes is buying super cheap tshirts off the Internet and some jogging bottoms. I can get 10 t's for £15 so I don't mind getting a few in every new size. The nice clothes will come at final goal
  • I once spent a funny couple of hours looking through the cencus in the UK at names registered at residences. One of them found was a lady called 'fanny bush' Another one i actually know is an Indian guy called Anul Cockram
  • I would even say they look a little loose! WTG
  • Thats great. I did exactly the same as you. I was really active during my teenage years with Karate and Basketball (not at the same time, dangerous!). I then went to university and still ate the same as I did before but did no activities whatsoever! The issue for me is that I then continued this for the next 5 years after…
  • Under 1200 is silly in my opinion. Based on different activity levels you can eat so much more! Its not about pigging out, its about a suitable amount of fuel for the engine. If you only put in 1/4 a tank of fuel in your car you cant be expected to drive the length of the country. If you stick in a full tank then you'll…
  • People are generally just trying to be helpful. If you interpret that help as a negative then it would be your issue and not theirs. Lifting weights has many benefits over cardio. People advise this because they've seen post after post about skinny fat people. Eating more to lose weight is proven when done correctly.…
  • It was my sons baptism on Sunday and we had a cake made for it. I took it into the office to get rid of it!!! it felt good only minimising my cake intake and feeding the hordes of hungry cake lovers at work :D

  • The target should not be quick weight loss. The target should be steady weight loss to allow your body to adjust. Quick weight loss can lead to lots of extra skin. You may get some anyway but if you can strength train and lose weight slowly through diet then you have a chance of firming up and minimising the extra skin.
  • feel free to add me. I've logged in every day since september 9th and have a public food diary. I do comment on others but only when they achieve something thats big for them. I dont do the whole 'great burn' when someone logs 5 minutes of house cleaning :)
  • I also agree with the previous poster - Food should not be a reward. To be really successful at this long term you need to change your relationship with food. You can still have chocolate or take outs but they are not 'treats' and they should not be so often. Your motivator for burning 300 calories should be fat loss. Your…

  • Thats great, well done! It was also one of my NSV's, we have 3 flights of stairs to get to my office, there is also a lift and an escalator. For the last 3 months i've taken the stairs and you'll be suprised at how quickly you get used to it! It gets so much easier as you get closer. Keep going and ALWAYS take the stairs :)
  • I always have my breakfast protein shake with a single low fat buscuit (cookie). The buscuit is a rich tea light (30 calories) and is more to put my mind at rest that i've eaten something! i know it sounds weird but im more of a textures eater, i enjoy the texture of food and my mind associates food intake with textures.
  • If i were gay.... Good job dude. Nice guns too!
  • At the moment mine is tucked safely away in my cufflink box. I see it every day but its too loose to wear at the moment and i'm scared of losing it. Its on my list of things to buy when i get to goal, top of the list is wedding band resize. I hope it turns up!
  • I just had a stalk through your profile pics. You were never fat before so you just had a controlling ex. Kids can be so mean, im not looking forward to my 2 boys going to high school as I dont want them to experience bullying! I was called fat even though looking back I was a normal weight for my height and age. This then…
  • Thats amazing, thanks for sharing. I've added you. I was also diagnosed with non alcoholic fatty liver disease and that was the thing that kickstarted my road to recovery.
  • Another one for Salter here. Got mine from ASDA for £20?. The body fat % i think uses the input height and weight data as it only really reflects the amount you lost. I've been gaining muscle so its becoming innacurate. The actual weight measurements seem to be dead on though. I've checked their validity to the good old…
