UK newbie looking for support to stay motivated

Hello everyone,
I have been on MPF since 12 Nov and I have lost 7lbs. Not a bad start at all. However last week was dreadful in terms of food and ended up not counting for 2 days and almost over my allowance every day. Did I have a bad week? Was it too cold that I was soo hungry? I could find a lot of excuses but no, I just lost my motivation and was not careful.
So I have decided to listen to MFP and seek some support from their community. I am hoping to find some great motivators as MFP friends and I can assure you that I will be happy to support you along your journey.
Now, here are a few fact about me so you can decide if I could be a good MFP friend for you and if we could support each other:
I am 32, I live in the UK (South West England)
I have always been overweight I think
No this is not my first attempt to lose weight, I have counted and counted so many days of food. However I am hoping that it will be my last attempt and that I will maintain.
I cannot live on 1200 calories a day and therefore I target myself between 1500 and 1700. I eat FOOD (you know what I mean), I do not deprive myself and the biggest lesson that I am trying to learn is portion control. I like a good glass of wine and will not give up on this little pleasure. And yes I enjoy a takeaway from time to time, it is all about choices and planning ahead I think (I am not very good at that yet but I am trying lol)
Exercise: I am a gym member however I have been really lazy over the last month and only managed once a week (which is better than nothing I know) but I would like to push to twice a week as a healthy habit.
Now I don’t want to be harsh but I need to say it as from experience it would be a waste of time for yourself and myself:
If you are eating less that 1400 cal a day on a regular basis
If you are taking diet pill or any other medication to lose weight/fat (apart if it is justified medically: diabetes, tyroid…)
If you think that because you stayed under 1400 cal every day this week in eating at McDs, KFC and Taco Bells you had a good healthy week (remember I like my takeaway but not every day!)
Well I am sorry to say that I don’t think I would be a great support for you. I really wish you luck with you weightloss however.
On the other hand if you are eating, struggling to lose weight and get healthy, need a kick in the backside when it is time to go to the gym and you don’t know if you can face it, need some support on Saturday morning because you spend Friday night with some friend and drunk too much wine and snacked on Doritos and peanuts (come we all did it, and are still doing it lol), you can perhaps “friend” me and hopefully we can share our experiences, successes and “angry I should not have eaten the whole box” moments.
I hope to see you soon on my wall!

Male or female?
Whats your starting weight and whats your goal?
What type of exercise?
Just seeing if we have a few things in common. I do add plenty of people but i normally have to be interested in them first. Tell us more about you and you'll get more requests0 -
Hello! I don't know if I strictly fit your friend criteria but I try to be healthy and exercise, eat foods that i enjoy, tend to slip up at weekends after a glass (or 5) of wine but try really hard to stay on track with what works for me!
I'm also from south west England.
Add me if you like?0 -

I am a woman and I have about 60lbs to lose to be in my healthy zone (I am very self conscious about my actual weight, so I am sorry to be so vague)0
