This may not work for you, but the way I got over the cravings was to not deem anything "forbidden." Do I want to eat that peanut butter bar? Okay, but it goes into my calorie allotment for the day. Yes to the walking! When I started, I did nothing but walk. Didn't even try for anything more strenuous. As I went on, walking became not enough, so I started jogging, first on treadmill for pacing, then outside. Now, I jog, do Jillian Michaels workouts and started Insanity yesterday.
